Again, I hope you manage to find a company that will look after your wellbeing.
Whenever I’ve worked in customer service I have been told you warn the customer that you will not tolerate aggression and if they continue you won’t carry on the conversation. If the calls are recorded then they can listen to it back and and verify that you tried.

Honestly, all you’re doing is making me feel bad for you and think that you don’t have enough self-worth. You shouldn’t have to put up with being abused at work in ANY position.

Suspect that it becomes a lot harder when you’re dealing with people in person

can’t just hang the phone up

You’re all trying so hard to prove me wrong but if someone is being aggressive and threatening to your face you can call the police. Celebrities don’t have that kind of protection against paparazzi.

I will let the people with in person customer service experience tell you the reality of it

The funny thing is that your whole point is based on something that hasn’t happened yet

She’s had problems with fans being weird in person when she’s not wanting to be a celeb. That’s what the IG stories were about

Her problems with paps appear to be limited to work events at the moment. Granted, most celebrities have managed to get working relationships with paps and aren’t followed 24/7 like they were a decade or so ago. Seemingly her included because despite being at the top of her game there seems to have not been any “spotted” pics of her

Me, I have experience 🤣 that is the reality and if it’s not then that’s on them, you should expect or tolerate abuse at work and if your employer expects you to then you should know your worth and go somewhere that will protect you.

this all started because I said paparazzi are known to goad celebrities, people were sticking up for the paparazzi and trying to say they’re just doing their job, I highlighted that paparazzi are quite frankly, rum.

She shouldn’t have to tolerate abuse on the red carpet, good on her for having self worth which other people clearly lack.

Remember guys to channel your inner Chappell at your work place:

1. you see someone telling your colleague to shut up or telling someone else to shut up? Get in their face babe, be a boss witch

2. you see someone who was rude to you months ago? Get in their face babe, be a boss witch

3. HR sends you an email informing you about something? Respond with “y’all suck for this”

Don’t take no disrespect and be constantly tired thinking about how everyone wronged you 🥰❤

Well done for completely missing the point.
My point was that there are policies in MOST ethical workplaces for abuse, celebrities don’t have that and they don’t get to clock out at the end of the day.

I don't live or work in the UK, but good to know. Alas, I live in a country that just elected a convicted felon and known sexual abuser by a landslide so I don't foresee anything changing anytime soon. But I did appreciate the laugh!

If it helps you feel better I completely agree with you. Nobody should have to put up with rude or aggressive behaviour at work or elsewhere. It takes people speaking up to make change. Be the change you want to see! Too many people in life coast along on “it has always been like that” and “just put up with it”. It has taken disruptors in all walks of life to make positive change. That is why women have the vote, why people of colour were given basic civil rights, why being gay is no longer a criminal offence and why women are not expected to put up with sexual harassment in the work place. If you don’t want to speak up then fine by me, but don’t tit all over those of us, celebrity or otherwise who actually do stick up for ourselves!

Glad to see I’m not the only one who gets it 🤣

BIB is your opinion, and you can't force people to agree with you, which the majority here don't. You seem to enjoy coming to snark threads and arguing with people, maybe this isn't the right website for you? Or just stick to the TS rave thread?

I’m just giving my opinion, as other people are. People hate to see the other side of things, very closed minded if that’s the case.

If debate isn’t allowed on tattle then I wasn’t aware, apologies. Would be a very boring site if everyone just agreed though wouldn’t it?
Moderating isn’t allowed, however so please do not tell me where I am allowed to post and where I am not.

My brain keeps singing 'Eeny Meeny Miny Mo! Catch a Tiger by the toe!' to the same tune as ' H O T T O G O, you can take me Hot to Go!'

You're repeatedly coming into snark threads and "debating" with people. It's a gossip site. I'm not moderating by pointing that out lol
And you're not even debating, imo, just telling people they're wrong because they don't agree with you

I honestly can’t think what other threads you’re talking about but I am someone who usually sees all sides of things rather than just agrees with everyone else so maybe just ignore my posts if you don’t like that x

I cannot stand this woman. I am irrationally annoyed by the way she dresses and does her makeup, and she seems to have a real attitude problem. It’s like she is absolutely desperate to be “alternative” and “not like the other girls”. It feels like she has come at the wrong time, like she should have been around in the MySpace era

I don't know chappell, I've heard her name but that's all. She's all over everything I'm reading today though because she apparently tried to get a nail artist to create her Grammy's nails for her for free in return for exposure. The nail artist has receipts but I'm not sure if chappell has said anything in return but people aren't impressed about it after her speech at the Grammy's.

Interesting article about her Grammys speech.

This is a questionable article at best

“No one is forcing artists to sign deals. For the one-millionth time — if they don’t like the terms, they can stay independent, own their masters and take the financial risk themselves.”

Ah yes buddy, throw away all the connections and opportunities that signing to a label could make you because you - an insignificant little person in an industry that has plenty of supply - don’t like the terms

She could bargain now because she is a big name and she will have labels lining up to sign her
