She had a brilliant debut single a couple of years ago, Good Luck, Babe! She emerged around the same time as a lot of other pop girls (Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, etc). Her USP, I guess, is that she's gay and sings about loving women; also, she has a Lady Gaga-esque attraction to fancy dress. The downside is that she doesn't like being a public person, which is a bit tricky if you're a female singer who releases big pop bangers and wears clown makeup. I really like her, but she's deeply standoffish.
