Ieva's vlogs from this past year have been quite different from even her vlogs from a year ago. She seems so low energy compared to before. Her vlogs are so short, she barely says much in them. I hope she's doing okay, but I'm curious how sustainable her florist business is, since most of her orders and events seem to be through the spring and summer seasons. It would be interesting if she spoke more about what she's been up to lately - about the Klaipėda apartment, how her life has been lately, Q&A, recommendation vlogs etc...

Her YouTube channel has 70,000 subscribers but her videos only get about 4,000 views lately... I think if she posted longer content, people would become interested again. Her Instagram photos get a few hundred likes at most, which is fine, it's not a competition, but for someone who would call themself an influencer, I wonder why she doesn't put more effort into influencing? Her replies to comments are mostly one-word answers. She does seem to get sent PR gifts like bags, cosmetics and recently a trip to the South of France with Aukse, but her posts seem kind of blase compared to a lot of other influencers. I used to enjoy her content a lot...

To me, this season, it looks like her flower business isn’t working out as good as it used to be last summer. Last summer she had a few weddings and a lot of deliveries but this year she travels a lot with means nobody is working for the flower business. But I guess that’s just a normal Ieva-thing: first she is totally passionate about something and then she will threw it away because she „is not feeling it anymore“.

I agree, she's not very likeable or relatable in her content most of the time. She either films her life without commentary, or she films a disguised ad as a fake, chummy girlfriend talk. No one knows anything about her anymore. She doesn't seem to want to share anything other than this superficial view of her amazing life. A lot of her aloof, disrespectful attitude may come from Aukse (including smoking, drinking, showing her bits). She might be somewhat bored with doing Youtube, yet she would miss the attention and freebies, and I think they need the money. It's an interesting thought that she might not be feeling great, but maybe the enthusiasm she used to have for her channel now goes into her relationship and friendships and she doesn't have more to spare. She's just not very active or ambitious.

Yeah, it sounded as if she had lots of weddings and events she was doing the decor for, but we aren't really seeing much of that. I wonder if Rokas has finished his course yet? He had a decent job to begin with and is working to get further qualifications. Meanwhile, Ieva just turned another short-term hobby into her job. I guess they will stay together and she will stay at home and care for their children and he will be the classic main earner. But if they do separate, Ieva will have no qualifications whatsoever. I don't see her being an influencer in her forties if she is already struggling now, and she didn't really make use of any of the many opportunities she had to branch out into different areas of the beauty industry. The flower job is still something she does out of her living room.

I think she mentioned in one of her vlogs that YT is not her thing anymore. I mean, girls that she admires and copies are not doing YT so it all makes sense, all these crazy outfits look better in pictures.

I went to school in Germany for a few years, back in the 00s when the big influx of Eastern Europeans started and I had some friends who were admittedly super judgy and shallow who wouldn't go out with these Eastern European girls in a serious way because they said they lost their looks super fast. And I was like, wtf. But with Ieva, it seems to be true. It must be the smoking and poor diet.

Well we know from who Ieva got this nasty habit🫢
Yeah, she really turns into a copy of the people she surrounds herself with. No alcohol and no pork when she had a Muslim partner, rich, traditional food and lots of alcohol when she got together with Rokas. She used to make a small salad with every meal when she was with Arif, but she hasn't done that once since the split. I wonder if she really likes any of those habits she adopts, or if she simply likes the idea of being with that guy and sharing his life. I see so little of Ieva in their shared apartment and their habits, she left it all behind for Rokas. I thought she would be smart enough to not start smoking this late in life, or at least vain enough. And I assume she wants a family, so why isn't optimal health important to her? And the same goes for Rokas, sperm morphology also takes a hit in smokers.

Is this Snickers stripe supposed to be a contouring?
She went to a makeup artist to have her face done for that day. I guess blending is a thing of the past? Or maybe she just forgot.

I don't watch her yt or follow her IG anymore, I just read from time to time and sometimes have a look on her socials. Ieva is not inspiring anymore but I must say that I do wonder where the money comes from for her. I live in Poland, prices are crazy right now, pizza in Poland costs me the same amount of money that it cost me in Rome, I assume that Lithuania is very similar. To live Ieva's lifestyle you would need a lot of money and earnings in Poland/Lithuania are still lower then in Germany or UK. I wondered about her financial situation when she broke out with Arif and bought her apartament, I know that she's with Rokas but still... they spend a lot of money and she doesn't seem to earn much plus she clearly doesn't care about monetizing her content cause it sucks.

I have thought about this as well. She is portraying a life of little work, eating and drinking out, spending days doing nothing/holiday activities. Even with her groceries, I have noticed that she always gets the branded international stuff (the branded barista almond milk, etc.) and is picking up to go coffees and bakery goods from high end places on a regular basis. Even going to a makeup artist (although she is a self proclaimed makeup artist herself) is a luxury. I earn a very good salary in a much more prosperous country and I am not living like this. There are two possible scenarios: Either she is putting everything on a credit card because YOLO, or she is leeching off her dad (and not even her parents seem to spend like her).

Judging by her parents house and her lifestyle I can assume she’s from a wealthy family. Nothing wrong with that, but it also explains how she (her parents) could afford buying the Klaipeda apartment. I bet it’s now rented out so the loan pays itself, because while I think they have money, I doubt they have that much money to buy an apartment in a big city for cash, but they still seem as a reliable client for a bank.
It’d also explain the make up studio she used to have. Today she does exactly the same, she just exchanged make up products for flowers.
I believe that she was financially supported by her parents as long as she lived with them, so all the money from YouTube was her pocket money. She was writing articles for a magazine, worked with Lancôme, had sponsored trips (I think Arif paid for the Thailand trip, he also gifted her a new camera, so he also somehow supported her financially) and was in her peak of YouTube career, so she was earning pretty good money, hence I guess she was not able to create a healthy relationship with them, she didn’t need to worry about the rent or groceries, was getting many products for free as a pr packages, so she could afford going out to restaurants or buying coffee to go frequently. She didn’t learn how to manage or save money, and now she just continues the lifestyle she’s used to.
Help from parents, then parents and Arif, then after break up from parents, now Rokas. Meanwhile friendship with Aukske also benefited her, she was able to travel to China, Aukske travels a lot to many fancy places, so I believe she’s there for work and enjoys the free time showing luxury. They went together on this boat trip probably sponsored by a brand that was advertised by both of them on the socials.
I hope she realises how lucky she is, and if she only pushed more with YouTube she could be in a very very good position, but the YouTube is dying, Instagram is dying, she ditched all the side jobs she had (necklaces, make up studio, this shop with “vintage” things), the florist job doesn’t seem come up roses as it did at the very beginning when she had booked few weddings and was showing the bouquets she made, so I think it’s a matter of time when she ditches it as well.

Edited to add some screenshots from our lovely Aukske glorifying and romanticising smoking the fags. So now we’re not ashamed and can stop lying with the “I only carry lighters just in case a smoker will come to me and ask for it”? I wonder if her friend used to smoke before and she saw her friend and then Ieva to enjoying it, or the friend started smoking after Aukske. I don’t follow her that regularly, but I can’t remember anyone in her girl group smoking. Also, has she ever heard of SPF? And why is she exposing her burnt body to even more sun? Jeeeez…

@kensi I believe your assumptions are correct. She never learned how it is paying for life expenses fully. Most of her earned money might have been treated as pocket money indeed, with the fixed costs being payed by her family. This also partly explains why she does not see the need to establish a corporate career, or to put consistent effort into social media and actually treat it as a profession rather than an attention seeker’s hobby. It just makes her not relatable and uninspiring for most people over the age of 23. Moreover, her unprofessional behaviours as discussed in this thread (inconsistency, being late to everything, harsh opinions, passive aggressive responses to comments and no reflection on herself) make her a straight up unpleasant character.

Her feminism only goes skin deep. I guess she got disappointed that Barbie does not portray her traditional views (which I believe are still engrained in her - the woke stuff she is sometimes posting only appears when it’s on trend) or she just cannot understand/interpret nuances.

Wow, never expected ieva would cut her hair that short!
Wow. If that is real, I'm impressed. I'm sure the video is filtered, but she hasn't looked this good in a long time. This might just be the perfect style and color for her. But I mean, she looked like tit for so long, the only way was up.
I wonder what Aukse is going to do? She let her dark roots grow out as well. Will she copy Ieva or do something else?

Finally! This length and colour suit her so much, she looks so fresh now!
I also wonder if her mom said some mean comments like when she cut her hair a little bit and the mom was pretty mean to her (in Klaipeda apartment). Now it’s not only the length, but also the colour! No more mother-daughter twins

In this picture she definitely looks much better than usually. She might have gotten some inspiration from Hailey Bieber. I noticed that she has been liking a lot of her content and has referred to her quite a bit when speaking about style and beauty.

I can’t really tell if I like it. I guess I have to see the new hair in a vlog from different perspectives.
