I think this "aesthetic" is exactly what she wants. She thinks she looks effortless and sexy. She loves it. In that story, there is a clip of her turning her head to the camera, her hair bouncing. It looks totally awful and contrived. It's a classic model movement but it needs to be longer and slower, and she needs to actually look at the camera for a moment. The abruptness of the movement should be in the sudden cut-off, not the movement itself. It just doesn't look natural the way Ieva does it. But she'll never see this, because she just copies from others without actually understanding what she is doing. She has no taste. For example, those frames with the travel mementos Ieva and Rokas put up above their sofa look absolutely hideous. The idea is fine, but the way they went about it is so weird. I'm surprised, because I thought at least Rokas would have more of an eye for aesthetics, his sister being a graphic designer, but he's just as clueless. It's kind of weird, because I did love Ieva's content for a long time, I thought her vlogs were often beautifully filmed and her photos were nice as well. But unfortunately she cannot achieve that kind of harmony with her new style, it's just jarring.I understand that whoever is taking those pics for her, probably Rokas, has not any photography skills and just can’t take a good picture. Not everyone has to, and that’s fine! My friend also takes some most unflattering pictures but she’s not into photography and I get it. But Ieva is also not helping at all with those weird poses and some of them look really cheap and vulgar, I don’t know if you also get this vibe. And as someone who works as YouTuber/Instagrammer/content creator she should know better which photos are ok and which ones belong to the trash, but apparently she has no clue. And it’s something I can’t understand. If she was a beginner - sure, everyone needs to make some mistakes to learn, but she’s been in the business for very long time! Especially she seems to be into fashion so she should know how to aesthetically present an outfit.
She mentioned that later she will dye her hair and add some lighter face framing strands. But the shoes and the red powder on her nose are from Chanel, this automatically makes her look good!
I wonder what she is going to do with her hair in the long run. I know people have been saying for years that she should go for a darker shade of blonde or her natural color, but it's not really working for her. That hair color would probably look nice with a proper style and a generally more chic, polished look. The baggy hobo style and weird hair grips make her look so ratty. I get she wants to look relaxed and effortless, but she just looks like a joke. All the gifted clothes and the outfits copied from other influencers distract from the fact that she doesn't have good taste or a good sense of style. And she doesn't seem to be able to learn it like a skill, either. Her outfits are still as disastrous as her Paris fashion week combos. You can see it in her apartment as well. The furniture is pretty generic and up to date, so it's hard to get that wrong, but you can see in the accents she chooses that her taste is hideous. Her flower arrangements often look like they belong at a funeral.
Yes, but when? She's been growing it out for over a year now, and it looks like tit.She mentioned that later she will dye her hair and add some lighter face framing strands.
I guess when it ALL grows outYes, but when? She's been growing it out for over a year now, and it looks like tit.
Totally agree. She basically hijacked the friendship with Karolis and Aurimas and ended up spending much more time with them than Ieva does. She's still jealous and resentful of Ieva and wants to take everything that's hers. The fact that Aukse hangs out more with supposedly Ieva’s friends (or more her husband’s friends) is pretty weird to me. I get a mean girl vibe from her, I’m not sure why Ieva keeps this friendship.
Sure looks thrilled to be helping with Ieva’s antics lolok I guess
