Basically this thread is just hating anyone from Essex who has an Essex accent as they are scummy and uncommon nearly every post lists Essex accents this way!

I am from Essex so I find it less awful perhaps. Not everyone who speaks this way is stupid

I am not a fan of the GC’s accent, that is a bit extreme and heavy

I have been in love with Jack O’connells voice forever. I like so many singers it would be hard to name them but I don’t like Ellie Goulding either and think she has a weak voice

she’s probably been said a lot in this thread but i love scarlett johansson’s voice. i don’t blame joaquin phoenix for falling in love with her by voice alone in “her”.

deeper voices on women are really attractive imo. the actress who played alex on orange is the new black also has a really nice voice.

also i love an essex accent! i think it just sounds friendly and warm

Love & lust for Sean Pertwee and his sexy voice.
Cannot bear these singers. Adele, Chrissie Hines, that woman in the big hat screeching "What's going on", & a weird one. A
guy called Daniel Merryweather. Sang "Red". To me every note he hit was a bum one. So flat.
Anyone remember Dino Spamoni off Hey Arnold? Now that was real singing.
I'll have a think about anymore.
Oh yeah I find Beyonce's voice shrill and painful too.

Joe Lycett has a beautiful voice
Bob Mortimer is one of my favourite humans
Chris Packham - I find lisps sexy
Julian clary lovely voice
Greg Davies is from my neck of the woods so I love how he speaks

Viola Davis, Shemar Moore and Matthew McConaughey are my favourites.
Chris Hemsworth's voice also
I used to have the calm app and would listen to Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey reading stories to get me to sleep.

Really dislike Katie Mcglynn, Joel Dommet, hinch, Stacey Solomon and Joe Wickes. All go right through me!

Elizabeth Taylor's voice wasn't awful but it didn't match her alluring appearance, she was shrieky. I like Richard Hammond's voice. General RP always sounds nice to me, not the posh RP a lot of politicians and actors have. Too abrasive.

I just watched Happy Valley series 1 and 2 on the i-player.
Shirley Henderson's voice is weird.
When she was Moaning Myrtle in Harry Potter, I thought she was acting, but no, it's her actual voice.
I wouldnt want to listen to an audio book narrated by that voice.

Seriously, an accent is one thing, but the tone or timbre of a voice, what do you do about an unpleasant one?
Can elocution lessons change the tone???

Rochelle Humes sounds unintelligent and looks and sounds permanently smug.
Paddy McGuinness - grim in every way.
Jeremy Vine. Another person whose presenting career is a mystery to me. Awful.
Sarah bloody Cox. So many vocal tics and much other awfulness. Jo Whiley. Smug & bland.
Love love love Andrew Cotter, Neil the Scottish archaeologist, Lisa Tarbuck, Eddie Mair. Hmm. There’s a theme emerging with the men….

Don't like Stacy Solomon speaking she is all breathy like she's a pervy phonecaller in her spare time.
