Absolutely. I remember going to A&E as a kid and my mum being asked a huge number of questions. I'm adopted, which understandably triggered further questions about who my parents were, if I was being cared for by who I should be, and because I'd had an injury (I'd fallen off my bike and concussed myself), if there was a possibility of abuse.
Cathy is exactly the kind of person to slate a hospital if they didn't pick up on something untoward.
Also, I hate to break it to her, but she's a white woman who chose to give her child an unusual name.

White people are not some fucking monolith. If we're going to play hierarchy one-upmanship, Cathy forgets she is a white middle class woman and having a disability or mixed race children does not negate that.

Her writing and lengthy IG monologues are over-articulated drivel. It’s like she tries so hard to use big, clever words and you can almost see her tripping over herself trying not to say anything that her followers might pick her up on (heaven forbid she might come across as anything other than woke!). I genuinely fail to grasp her point of view sometimes because she puts her views across in such a convoluted, rambling way. It’s no wonder she gets so few paid writing jobs, her writing is dire.

The thing I don't understand about TSM is that the people she goes after so viciously are not the people who are harassing her in the street, calling her slurs and actively making her life difficult.
Far from it - the people she goes after are already 'on her side'.
They are journalists. They are followers. They are (in the near future) teachers and parents who have voted her onto a committee.
Why did she need to end her latest tweet series with 'fuck you'. The people reading those tweets / posts are already sympathetic and want to hear her experiences. Why attack them?
It makes her activism look less like a real struggle (which, I have no doubt, her life is) and more like woke point scoring. It's all word salad and nothing useful.

I’ve just seen her Halloween costume post. I don’t think I have ever, ever seen someone dress as Helen Keller and pretend to deaf and blind to ‘scare someone’. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Helen Keller fancy dress, or if I haveI haven’t known that what’s they were.
Someone suggested using balloons to dress as bunch of grapes in the comments, because no one could be offended by inanimate objects. Well actually, I’m here to tell you that my daughter has a chronic illness (T1 diabetes) and can’t eat grapes because they’re too sugary. Not only would someone be mocking her disability by dressing as grapes, she could actually find it quite triggering (this is how it’s done right?).
I get the Oompa Loompa references can be offensive, but I think most of the other costumes she’s mentioned are reaching a bit.

If the person who originally bought the story to cosmo, is fine with the journalist choice. The people sharing their story are comfortable and happy with the journalist choice, what is the problem?
I think she wants to be considered a parenting / skincare influencer, but clearly lacks the skillset and attributes required to be successful in this arena (photography / styling skills, good skin, etc.) - and as such, she’s more than happy to use her dwarfism and experience of being disabled as USPs when it suits her. It’s somewhat hypocritical to use the platform for relentless virtue signalling / highlighting of ableism, then to subsequently complain when this is the basis on which your followers engage with you. Can’t have it both ways.
Her main problem is that she desperately tries to portray a sense of humour based on irreverence and not giving a fuck, yet she absolutely does give too many fucks about every issue ever - more so than anyone else I’ve ever come across. She is literally a paradox. That in itself is an interesting selling point if only she was aware. Except she isn’t. Which is beautiful irony.
