Just seen a photo AFLucy uploaded of one of the kids bday party. The kid face planted the cake. That sums up why I don’t really like her. She’s a yob! I like people who know how to behave. You can be whacky and out there, but swearing in front of your kids, or letting them faceplant the cake just smacks of poor manners.

Absolutely people can do both but it is disingenuous to call something a memoir when it isn’t autobiographical. I’m not in publishing but surely this is a pretty basic premise of a memoir? ?

I sense another ‘Million little pieces’ saga - guy who wrote a ‘memoir’ but had heavily embellished stories and even stolen other people’s experiences and painted them as his own. Oprah Winfrey endorsed him because she loved his book so much, but it the truth came out. He had to pay back all money earnt and was blacklisted by Oprah, lying little toerag obviously thought he was clever enough not to be caught out.
Publishers take these kinds of things v serious now and will take legal action if someone is shown to be a liar.

Cookie completely owned #cheesecunt and was/is a very funny writer. I hope she’s ok.
Cash went for all that lot of Instamums despite having a few issues with the way they prance around at swanky events and wear leopard #gifted jumpers I never saw any of them actually do anything directly at Cash. She continued to slag them off at her own expense, making it about class. But reading everyone’s experiences on here it was those who aligned themselves with her that felt the most hurt and betrayed. I’m just so sorry people were deceived in this way by her

Most people who can’t stand Cash are working class. I’m working class and she doesn’t speak for me. The only people listening to her were guilty overprivilged middle class instamum twats and she Burnt that shitty boat. Her delusions of literary grandeur are almost funny.

What is spoken wordist anyway? It’s poetry really isn’t it? Cash made me feel frightened. From me standing up to her and calling her out as a liar and a bully. My inbox on instagram was inundate with threats from her band of followers. Comments from her followers full of aggression. And personal comments about my children. Then cash turning it saying I was bullying her.
And can we just get one thing straight. Didn’t she initially come off Instagram because someone knew her location, therefore compromised hers and her daughters safety? FIRST off if you’re at risk in life then you don’t share your life on social media! It’s all lies.

She keeps talking about her ‘work’ being silenced but what is her ‘work?’ I have yet to see her offer any analysis or insight into poverty and there is so much she could be saying. Her commentary is totally self centered and she says very little about anything bar her own anger at instamums/soldiers of the patriarchy.
No one outed her. Cash is making shit up again and twisting the facts to suit her narrative.

Yes, I think deep down the real Cash is likely a compassionate, fun, interesting person to be around. The small tidbits she showed us of her and her daughter interacting were always lovely and I never understood all the criticism of her parenting. However, her online persona became more and more vile the more 'instafamous' she became which made it nigh on impossible to see through to any positive side of her, and certainly massively diminished her message. The inconsistencies in her stories (and insistence it was all art) also made it impossible to believe anything she said, which is a shame because when she first started up on the gram she was a much needed breath of fresh air.
