Those pictures are face tuned to the hilt!
Might as well be advertising a block of tofu to rub on your face, for all we can judge the products given "glowy" skin. Fake tan, makeup, filters... how is this not misleading, false eyelashes were banned afaik in mascara adverts, so should wearing a face of makeup to advertise skincare.

She’s an Instagram sales woman who has made a very successful career making women believe she is an authority on skin care by buying the products she’s paid to promote.

I used to follow her back in the day before I gave me head a wobble and realised she’s just flogging lotions and potions.
Yup, same here. I think I saw the light when she did an ad for Eucerin, a brand she'd never mentioned before (and hasn't mentioned since). And the weird Sunday Riley episode.
And I know it's not nice to judge the way people look but DEAR LORD LOSE THE LASHES. They're ridiculous. And don't get me started on the 'shopped pictures. Who is she trying to fool?

Those photos are embarrassingly bad. Not a critique on her appearance but seriously, there's no effort at all

She promotes herself as being such a professional and yet she rarely follows through. She seems to have an idea eg: Bun Friday and then can’t be bothered to keep it up. Take Nadine Baggott or Angie Hot and Flashy they do what they say they’re going to do, they’re reliable and professional. They also give actual helpful advice and reviews whereas CH is just ranting and flogging whatever she’s lately been gifted. Also as others have said she looks appalling. The crunchy hair the terrible eye lashes, the ill advised injectables and the sweatshirts and camouflage shirts.. she literally never looks nice. I’m so over her.

There’s no ‘editing’ with CH. Watching her videos is wading through 25 minutes of stream of consciousness to get maybe 1-2 minutes of useful information. Just not worth it. I think she’s one of those people who dumps verbal nonsense all over her friends and then feels so much better for it.

I do get that some people think out loud but in that case why wouldn’t you film your out loud thought process, stop, review, and then edit or re-film? Why do we have to know every thought wizzing through her brain? She needs to do some five minute video challenges to force herself to verbally and mentally edit.

It’s why I much prefer Nadine Baggot and Caroline Barnes - they always keep their audience at the forefront. What is left out is as important as what is kept in.

This is what drives me crazy about her. She’s so unprofessional whilst constantly going on about how much of a serious professional she is! She doesn’t give a toss for the audience she’s producing content for and if anyone complains they get abused - see latest ‘some people have butt plugs in place of a sense of humour.’ Jeez how is this acceptable? I don’t care about her husband and four grown up kids I only ever tuned in for skincare advice but there is very little of that now, it’s just the stream of consciousness as you say. Surely others must also be turning off..?

And she’s always so flipping knackered. Nobody has ever been so knackered. On and on.

I fail to see the point of her vlogs, it's just her being knackered, as @rosemarina pointed out, interrupted by her explaining why she can't film somewhere that would actually be interesting. Just - here's my hotel room, here's the view, something about tea... I just watch mesmerized by the lashes, you can't look away, it is one of the main reasons I still watch her every now and then, other than inertia like with the majority of influencers. The products she often recommends, or advertises, are overpriced and essential oil filled (like Tata Harper), so that's a no from me on all accounts.
Also, if someone has to point out how professional they are every time they open their mouths, you can be sure that they're not.
One more thing, bun Friday implies that her hair is done the rest of the week, but...

I used to watch her videos but it got to the point where I would be doing CH bingo

- I thought i’d do a quick video on x (25 minutes later)
- anyhow I digress
- what was I saying?
- I’m off on a tangent again

And i would just think.. Christ woman didn’t you think this through before you hit record? No bullet points? No one to maybe practice on if you know it’s one of your weak points?

And I don’t mind a lengthy video but not when they’re long because the influencer is using the time to get her own brain in order. Do that on your own time.

It’s lazy and very unprofessional. No wonder she keeps banging on about how professional she is.

Just stumbled across a video where she was reviewing best SPFs. She was reading the text on the bottle and squinted : "HEV- don't know what that is". Christ, that's professionalism for you. If you're claiming to be a professional and to know the industry, expert on ingredients- what UVA and UVB means etc and then don't know what HEV is, God help you. She is a phony.

Those pictures are crazy. Does she not have a friend who would tell her? Stupid me, of course she doesn’t, anymore who said even the mildest (maybe cut back on the cheek filler) would get a hose of Hirons brutal ranty woman..

I’ve just watched Nadine Baggott’s IGTV come shopping with me in Boots. Terrific- informative, short, professional- this is what I’m looking for in a beauty expert- not thirty minutes of blah blah blah rant blah more ranting, some old product I’ve been sent, my kids, Mr. Hirons, butt plugs.. look and learn Caroline Hirons

Gothamista is similarly informative and professional. Based in the US so products aren’t always available here but she’s super knowledgeable about ingredients, routines etc.

Promoting herself as a skincare activist now, what the duck?

Why? she advertises and sells skincare on behalf of whoever employs her to spin a good story about their products.

Oh wow, in her bio. ACTIVIST? Is this related to whatever she’s selling tomorrow?
I’ve no idea but it’s a load of balls.

“Hi I’m Lady Hirons, I’m not confrontational at all and I’m a skincare activist, pleased to meet you”

As if.
