What about her latest grid post? I do agree with what she’s saying about that zinc oxide powder crap - I’ve read a few posts from other instagrammers about that over the last few weeks and it’s ridiculous and dangerous. However, as usual, in busts Hirons with her trademark charm. I especially like the little bit about her lawyers at the end of it 🙄

CH doesn't often recommend cheaper products. She makes a big thing about not getting into debt for skincare etc then says you get what you pay for and whips everyone into a frenzy about kits that cost hundreds of pounds. People on minimum wage are spending nearly £100 on a month or two worth of glycolic acid wipes because she says they are the best. The Ordinary has a glycolic toner that contains a significant amount that costs a few pounds and lasts forever.
Yep! That toner has lasted me for 2.5 years and it’s okay. I use it once every 2 weeks though... hardly ever in comparison to what the queen recommends... hmmm. I can’t believe they call her the queen.

Yeah the CT stuff is weird but it’s her business.

I wonder if CH ever wonders about the monster she’s created on that board. (I have been a fan, learnt a lot for her, see some ego issues manifesting and stopped following but don’t find her as problematic as the general vibe in this thread - just to make my position clear #transparency).
The but at the end about Credit Cards made me laugh......oh the irony!!!

I follow a dermatologist on insta called Dr Natalia Spierings... I urge you all to take a look at her factual, no nonsense content.

I was watching a live a few weeks ago with her and another bullshit-hater when they mentioned Caroline's new book. The live suddenly jumped from around 20 viewers to over a hundred, with lots of "get in the sea", "freaks 4eva" etc comments being sent... It was truly embarrassing. The host, being American and not really aware of CH's group didn't know what was going on.

Yesterday Natalia did a live with carolinelabouchere... Go watch it. She has now bought the book and is beginning to give her opinion... She is small fry compared to CH but I know whose opinion I trust... I'm watching with interest to see if the ripples turn to waves.

I've learnt so much from Natalia's feed, she's the antithesis of CH and the likes of Sali Hughes... Well worth a follow if you want to help your skin and wallet.
Approximately what time in the video do they discuss the book? I'd be interested to hear a trustworthy opinion on it!

What I will say, isn’t this stuff Korean? I’m certain we’ve discussed previously that she’s voiced her disdain, or perhaps that’s harsh so I’ll say indifference, for Korean skincare in the past. But obviously now they’re paying her... this brand is just the ticket for your skin at this time of year! 😡
I might have missed something but the only time I've heard her mention the lack of Korean skincare she discusses she said it was because it wasn't easily accessible in the UK. Can't remember when this was but Korean brands are more easily available now than a few years ago.

Paula's Choice Salicylic Acid for me.
Love this product, too! I used the gel form, the liquid one was a bit too much for me. When I get back to work, seeing I'll be wearing a mask most of the time, I think I'll get it again. It helped with the sebum production on my chin a lot. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a salicylic acid, they have various strengths and formulations most of which come in travel sizes, so it's good for testing it out, as they are not cheap.
These days if my chin is acting out, I use Stridex alcohol free pads, but sparingly and not all over my face, as it would be too much for me. Also use them wherever on my body. I don't seem to agree with AHAs at all.

I've been waiting weeks to get into the freaks group. Is that normal? I mean, first they make you answer weird questions which is already eugh. What the hell are you supposed to even say? It's awkward. I mean, I'm an admin on another facebook group and it takes seconds to click accept. Is there something secret you have to put in the questions? XD Or have they stopped accepting?
yep, I waited a while to be let in. I answered the cringey questions trying to sound like one of CH’s minions. Guess it worked lol the group’s collective behaviour is sycophantic and over the top. I think the group gets a lot of follow requests so it takes the admins a while to work through the requests

Hmmm... I dont know how to link from my phone.
Go to carolinelabouchier on insta, click on IGTV and it should be either the first or second vid. I think she was doing another live today, so that's why the second.
Maybe you are looking on Natalia's profile, I don't think she has uploaded it yet but she will do, I'm sure.

I’m half wishing they were sold out so the temptation was over but I’m also half glad they aren’t so people don’t feel so desperate they wake up at 5am next time.

On OTC Tret in PM top it wz some Cera Ve ointment or Vaseline... works for me ... I've been paranoid about any other product reacting wz the Tret ... AM a Vit C , hydrating serum n moisturiser.... I started low .025 n slow on the Tret .. so initially mixed it in cerave or vaseline n applied ... then moved to putting the ointment immediately on top... now i wait 15 20 mins n then apply...
I've also reduced using all other actives n exfoliating products to minimum... no spf currently as dont go out in sun at all.. n i don't believe spf is needed indoors ..for my skin type
Thank you @Mayday and Molly.
I do kind of sandwich the tret with my normal night time routine, that's what labmuffin recommends if you know her? That seems to work okay. I think I just need to accept that it's not something I can use regularly. Once or twice a week seems more than enough for my skin.

Believe it’s a guy asking about skin bleaching??? Not privy to all the details as I left the group when they started shaming brands for not donating enough to her pointless charity which I believe raised £10 for every beautician whilst she was also being a white saviour and getting the Government to reopen beauty which they were always going to do anyway
Ah. I remember they spoke about anal bleaching on the kardashian’s years ago, dark skin in that area is non desirable to some I guess. Curious 🧐
