I think it’s more that she’s got the sort of unjustified self confidence that we normally associate with white men 😀.

Hate to throw a dampener but I think CH’s sudden righteousness at these brands/companies is just a tactic to keep relevant through this disaster period. She had never (to my knowledge) given any previous time to the horrendous bullying in the industry that Estee Laundry have highlighted.

as a person she isn’t that interesting to keep her sycophants followers enthralled for weeKs, so she is making this her thing while she can’t sell you the snake oil. Think she (or any of them) will turn down a PR package or cheque from any of these brands after all this? Call me a cynic.
100% agree. She has made it her *thing* as you say. Not a bit afraid to 'call them out' when probably she wouldn't be getting anything from them anyway right now. She always had that 'ah the things I could tell you ;)' attitude, all the whilst doing nothing about it whilst on the gravy train.
Calculated guess on her part that when this appalling shitshow is over companies will be desperate for extremely wary and timid consumers to start buying non essential luxuries again, and might need her help to enable this. All the while she can be the one 'authenic influencer who stood up for people's rights' - probably well aware that being an influencer itself now just looks vaguely ridiculous - and in a matter of weeks has become a laughable and very dated way to make a living.
Influencers have played gullible consumers like a fiddle for years. She has just found another way of doing it.

I’ll just leave these here.
Wow she sounds painfully ashamed and insecure about both her age and her weight.

But why does she feels the need to deal with it in such an aggressive, attack-dog sort of way? It’s very revealing.. it makes me wonder what happened to her. She’s clearly overcompensating for something. Fits with the weird hoarding behaviour and the OTT reactions to everything, too.

In any case it’s vile. Shame on anyone who laps up her “sass”, they’re all fuelling this monstrous behaviour.

Next thread suggestion: “Caroline Hirons it’s time to buy some new bras, love”

glad it's not just me that finds space nk staff really bad, they really do look you up and down like a piece of shit. my mam went in one christmas to buy me some things and told me when she came home that she never will shop there again! like everyone else, appalling customer service until they noticed her expensive watch and then they were all over her like a rash.... don't think i've ever been in there where the staff have been helpful.
just like the worst staff on the makeup counters are tilbury , absolutely horrendous everytime!
Yep!!! Horrible staff, until one of them asked what I was looking for and I said its for my mum, and pretended that I was an Arab Royal family member with security outside (it was my two 6’3 male cousins waiting for me), I was been waited on hand and foot and then I said no, this place is cheap, I will go back to Harrods!! LOL this was the Space NK next to Harrods btw

Ava is a product of her environment...if your Mum is all about being beautiful, with the emphasis on surface, how could you be anything but obsessed with being 'beautiful'?

The difference is how it manifests itself- if you're a middle aged woman you spend a fortune on skincare and botox because beauty has 'empowered'/compelled you to stave off being a hag (but you can't be sexy because you're - eugh - old), and if you're a young woman being beautiful means Being Sexy, and being sexy is judged by the patriarchy, so get on your knees with your arse in the air, because looking fuckable is what society tells you is beautiful.

And that's why 'beauty' is neither empowering nor feminist.

Nadine Baggott did a Psychology degree which ended up with an bit of sociology and a politics
I just assumed she had a degree in chemistry. I really shouldn't be this gullible anymore :D
It's like someone saying: I have a degree in phonetics which is a science, so listen to my skincare advice based on... vowels?

This just came up in my YouTube suggestions. Is this really the best thumbnail they could make? 😳 my God. I certainly wouldn't be taking any skincare or beauty advice off her. I don't even feel bad for saying so - I've found her to be very rude and don't think she's a nice person. Why is she treated like such an authority on skincare?

Having been on her group briefly I can confirm a lot of it is about collecting things like £75 lipsticks. She can now pretend it is a public service for stressed people but it was she who was flogging her own 'kits' costing nearly £300 and telling people who voiced concerns - 'fuck off this is MY group'.

It’s good to see CH’s advice being challenged by a medically trained person who she can’t shout down.

I have watched her recent appearance on This Morning (via YouTube) and am baffled by the debit/credit card chat. You use your debit card for cheap skincare and if it’s expensive you buy it on credit? Did I hear that right? Difficult to know because she’s so rushed and out of breath. If so jfc how irresponsible.

She’s not daft but is a greedy cow. She’s changed, not just her face but her whole bloody attitude.
Nah totally I do agree. I’m shocked by the whole encouraging people to pay on credit when a year ago or so she wouldn’t have told anyone to pay on credit. It is shocking behaviour for someone to change their morals as much

Watching it now.

On jade rollers: "If it feels like because you're an old crone having hot flushes, go for it, but don't claim that it stimulates collagen"
Also Caroline [on a £55 serum]: "This stimulates collagen"

My personal favourite is when Brandon Truaxe took out major media print ads calling her an internet pseudo-article writer and ultra-sophisticate 💅
As problematic as Truaxe was, he’s pretty spot on with Hirons here. She has no education, she’s self taught. Which is perfectly fine in some areas, but medically (which is what skincare and skin is) she can’t really go around giving advice like she’s Miss Know It All.

Knowing what I know now I have to say CH isn’t a great advert for either skincare or botox. Hate the snippy defensive attitude too when people have the audacity to say they feel disappointed or surprised.
