There's a little bit of madness in us all, and we manage to control it well, which is why we struggle sometimes to understand people who do too much of a normal thing to the point where it interferes with normal functioning.
The fact of the matter is however, that it does, and irrational behaviour isn't always conscious and rational thought. Those behaviours are protective, though destructive to those around them, but they've been practiced and perfected since childhood.
Everyone makes their own choices, like when we go out and get pissed knowing that we're going to suffer like duck the next day, but it's our choice. It's potentially irrational, but we choose to suffer.
Our choices however, are based on our experiences and developmental history, and those exeperiences shape the beliefs we have about ourselves, the world around us, and other people. Sometimes those beliefs are dysfunctional, but drive our behaviour nonetheless. Lots of that becomes automatic, habitual, and subconscious.

That article makes for very interesting reading, she had been adviced to stay of social media yet didn’t... and it’s claimed she’d been having an emotional breakdown for a long time, and that she took responsibility for what happened that night but was not a domestic abuser.... Those two don’t correlate. The whole of the celebrity community is not looking at this objectively enough IMO
He will feel guilty, her current boyfriend also feels terribly guilty. If people are abusive they often show a really wonderful side when you first get together or flip from one side to the other and people love that nice person, cling onto it. If abuse occurred it doesn't mean you stop loving that person but you could be angry too at the pain they've caused you.
The incident where Brady called the ambulance and she went to the papers about him is something he may still feel very aggrieved about. he was called vindictive in the national press but was actually concerned that she would kill her self. Instead of thanks she slurred his character and made him out to be an idiot who wasted emergency services time. She in effect made him out to be the abuser. How hurtful would that be when you were trying to save someone you loved? I also think this is one thing that her 'friends' are blatantly ignoring when they blame the press, or him - she used it to attack others. Maybe he wants to be heard even if some might see it as an inappropriate time... because in one sense, her suicide actually confirms he wasn't vindictive.
Part of me feels like she was suffering from an undiagnosed personality disorder, something which stems back to childhood. My (unprofessional, most likely inaccurate) guess would be that she had Borderline Personality Disorder. Looking at her relationship history and behaviour, it seems to make the most sense. I just wish she got the help she deserved.
I agree, she didn't really take responsibility, saying you have is just paying lip service. She says near the start 'her world was swept away'. So her concern is for herself and paints the incident like being something totally distinct from her like a gust of wind that just came into the flat and started smashing things up! There's no apology to the boyfriend. At the end she says something about what her family and friends have been through...but still no apology. Unless she was told she couldn't mention him...I find it perplexing.
I think so too, a personality disorder with impulsive behaviour and mood swings is more likely than having a decades-long breakdown.
I've mentioned this a few times on here. I read a review for her autobiography that mentions:
I felt uncomfortable with the inclusion of the letters from Kips as it seemed as though a personality disorder or learning disability was involved

Yep and Caroline Flack herself was involved with Bo Selecta and appeared in it regularly. Let's not forget this was a show that regularly mocked the appearance of Natalie Cassidy (Sonia in Eastenders) who at the time was a teenager and had never done the things Caroline Flack has been accused of. Where was the outrage and calls to be kind then?Keith lemon promoting #bekindisnt Bo selecta where his career started? Which was basically him mocking various celebrities based on their imperfections and misdemeanors

You're not alone in that thought. I have BPD,and whilst it's largely managed with meds and therapy, I can see shades of myself in her.
But I suppose a lot of people could say that, with or without a diagnosis.
I am exposing myself a little her but I do section people for a living I’m an AMHP and cases likes Caroline’s are very complex the poor girl should have had input from services weirdly her home adresss area is a mental health trust that is outstanding with the CQC if anyone wants aspects of the MHA explained ask away !

Apparently the Met have referred themselves to the police watchdog. I can’t work out what for.
It sounds like it is just standard procedure.
If somebody dies after having involvement from the police it’s standard practice for them to refer to the pcc.
Is it possible she was offered help but said no thanks? She was well off, she could afford private health care. I would think then the problem is someone may pick the diagnosis they prefer or go to someone else when you don't like the treatment or think it's not working.
Yes I just read on bbc it’s standard practice when someone who has had recent contact with police dies.
