I think they probably did or maybe he did. The photo was said to be 'obtained by The Sun'. On the night he reportedly shouted 'I was normal til I met her'. If someone did wake you up by throwing things at your head and you had called 999 fearing you would get killed - I could see why he might want to get a photo out to show something of what happened, after all the papers were making out he was too tall to be a victim?!
He may also not have been thinking straight. Then later, he feels remorse and is back to wanting to help her rather than feeling he was the victim.

. The article stated 'her camp' gave the quotes about Brady being a time waster and calling an ambulance out of spite. So caroline herself used the media to attack someone's character when it suited her.The rumours of Brady cheating also got into the papers that way and he denied them. To me, that's a smear campaign. It's not a coincidence that she did this to multiple exes. Accusing them all of cheating publically after saying they were 'the one'!

It was said she would give dan wootton something in order to prevent him from publishing something else, almost like a trade off. He sounds like a nasty piece of work tbh and he seems to be under some illusion that they were friends whereas Brady’s blog post more or less said she was terrified of him. Seems to me like the quotes about Andrew Brady she gave where simply to prevent them from printing the truth
I think it's pretty obvious where this version of events came from. No mention of being restrained by police or threatening to kill herself that night. It does mention she 'totally overthought' the messages on Burton's phone, she was 'paranoid'. It's another PR clean up attempt from her. You can't use the media like that and then moan when they print things that don't flatter you. Extreme rage and paranoia that leads to you breaking things is abuse anyway.

For a second time, we have a boyfriend calling an ambulance out of concern for her but it was a false alarm and he was mortified? Just like Brady? Sorry not buying it.

Generally if you see any celebrity giving an exclusive with The Sun you can logically assume it’s a trade off in order to keep something more damaging out.

He also said about her being hurt in the past so I do think the ex Jack was unfaithful to her and that’s when she lost trust in men.

He did not call 999 over concern about her injuries, that's absolutely NOT what is on the phone recording. He called the police saying she tried to kill him, he had just woken up and she can be heard in the background screaming abuse at him. I absolutely do not believe any version that says he called 999 out of concern for her safety or wellbeing.
This is quite a personal story but possibly relevant IF Caroline had just started medication...
I've been wondering if she had been put on antidepressants which in turn led to her passing as I started Sertraline only a few days before she took her life. Within a couple of days of taking them I was devoid of energy yet my mind was in over drive! I didn't sleep well and after a few nights I couldn't sleep at all, the thoughts became unbearable!
When the news broke about Caroline it took me back 20+ years to a time when I was in a similar situation to now, I was given antidepressants and sleeping tablets and sent on my way, aged 16, alone and living in a hostel. One week after that Drs visit I took all the sleeping tablets and antidepressants, I just wanted to sleep and was definitely not in my right mind or with any control. I had never thought about the timing before or the fact that suicide risk increases when antidepressant use is initiated. If Caroline hadn't taken her life I may not have, until it was too late...
This time however I spoke to my Husband, about how bad I was feeling since starting the antidepressants and how Caroline's passing had reminded me of my own suicide attempt. I realised that both times the first weeks of starting treatment was hell on earth! I was certainly heading to a very dark place! He urged me to stop and wait for my Psych appt, which I have and I am so glad I did. Yes I am still depressed and have lot of work to do but the blackness I felt on those tablets has eased. I do not want to die but I cannot be sure I would have said this if I had carried on taking Sertraline much longer. I guess they don't mix well with my biology/chemistry.

Hmm.. firstly I don’t think a phone is capable of inflicting that kind of injury and secondly throwing anything at someone in a violent rage is inexcusable.
She’s minimising it yet again. And that’s before you take into consideration that she frightened someone enough to consider they were going to be killed, and went on to launch a tirade of verbal abuse.

^ I have never been the type of person to reach the level of despair of suicide. But, like you, after first being set on my way as a teenager with anti depressants, the initial few weeks were hell. Dr’s should warn you that you may feel suicidal and keep checks on you because I was so scared and didn’t realise what was happening. I felt in that state of mind, that if my flat mates weren’t there I could have easily in a split second jumped on the window because of such sort of uncharacteristic reaction in my mind.
It’s awful how when news comes out like this, you’re taken straight back to your lowest point. I think that’s why a lot of people have been triggered by the recent news.

Spammingyourhighway, it is so true, I have been catapulted back to my lowest point! Wasn't far from it anyway mind you but so grateful not to be alone this time, its lucky you had your flatmates! There was no warning given then or now by the GP I was just told to expect a few headaches and nausea and that they will phone in 2/3 weeks! You don't expect the medicine you're taking to exacerbate things, especially with such magnitude!
Just wondering how hard you'd have to throw a phone at someone's head to be able to split the skin open like that.

@Adios funny how we had such similar experiences. I bet many many more have had that happen. It seems like with Caroline, hers was similar but sadly she managed to succeed. I’m very glad your here today to share your story x
Pretty hard I’d say, but it’s not impossible. Years back, a friend of mine had a Clipper lighter aggressively thrown at her by her ex-boyfriend and it split her lip and the skin above it. As most smartphones are made of metal/glass, I’d say they could do significant damage if thrown with enough force, especially if the target isn’t moving. Just horrible.
