Don’t see why they’d need her sister to identify her if she was found by her Dad though 🤔
I suppose it’s a formal process when bodies are recovered involving police and her father may have been too distraught to then identify, or he had gone to support her mum.

Her body would still need to be identified. Her dad didn’t feel able to confirm after finding her and getting her down. Her twin wanted to do it. Her parents were absolutely devastated.

If LB did post the photo (I don’t know if he did or not), I wonder if he did so purposely to compromise the trial? Seeing as he wanted the charges dropped, maybe he was trying to have anything declared a mistrial
I’ve been puzzling over this too, did he post it before or after it appeared online do we know? If he posted it before he was obviously doing so to negate the deal done with the newspaper by whomever was at the scene as CF said it had been sold so maybe she had been tipped off by her ‘friend’ DW.

I always wondered that too, as he was so vocal on Instagram at the start?
He posted it at the start of Jan, his posting of it was the first I saw of it - however CF implies it was sold so perhaps they knew it was coming out?

I am not a twin myself but I can only imagine the pain of identifying a relative let alone someone who is essentially 'you'.

You both hit the nail on the head there. Like her mother said, With only the little voice that she had left, she was still not allowed to share this and speak out ☹
“Her little voice” just finished me 💔

Correct- but they keep it very private, which is why it's so angering to see him putting a spotlight on it now. Of course people are going to question it, they must be livid over him!

If she had put this out it wouldn't have changed anyone's opinion and that's a fact. It's easy to think now after what's happened that the public would have had sympathy.

But the big question is why did Lewis tell the 999 controller that she was trying to kill him and that she got him on the head with a lamp. If it was all one big misunderstanding he must be feeling pretty tit right now because that phonecall kicked the whole thing off.wull we ever know the truth now.
I think he did it maliciously. I think he knew exactly the repercussions of doing it. He was caught cheating and this was his trump card.

That article credits his Instagram for the photograph although it does also state the photograph has emerged but not where from 🤔

One minute, she was trying to kill him (on the 999 call) the next she's harmless.

I don't think anything LB says can be relied upon.

The Sun posted the original photo as an ‘exclusive’ on 31 December - that photo wasn’t a screen grab off IG. They also posted the ‘exclusive’ head photo, so whoever’s passing around photos, they appear to have a link to The Sun.

Something else that is bothering me about that head wound picture.

The article states "It shows barely a mark on Lewis Burton’s head — despite being taken straight after the domestic row which led to the tragic TV host’s assault charge."

If that picture was taken straight after the row, why doesn't he have any blood under his nails? Unless he somehow did not get any blood on his hands, how has he managed to get his nails so clean? And could he have washed his hair so quickly? His hair and scalp look remarkably blood free considering the police said he was covered in it.
It doesn't even matter, but why try to deceive people like this?

Yes, that’s an open wound, more than a scratch for sure
It looks like a wound that has started to heal. I don't believe the photo was taken immediately after the event but some days or weeks later. There's no fresh or dried blood.

We will never know how CF was struggling and with what. She was abusing drugs and drink which was clearly exasperating whatever was going on inside her. Seems like she had no idea the effects of recreational drugs and possibly didn't think she had a problem and therefore didn't reach for rehab.

Only she and LB knows the truth of that night and I wouldn't take his word for it alone. So his injury is on the very top of his head 🤔 interesting to know how it happened like that

A very sad situation and maybe we’ll never know the full story behind it . I made a post on the other thread regarding CF.
I personally have no interest in social media at all or the remotest interest in celebrities lives . I do however think I’ve been around long enough and witnessed and behaved mannerisms regarding c and alcohol fuelled binges .DV is not just a trait attributed to working class binge drinking and living on the breadline . Unless you’ve been there it is hard to describe the anger issues it can cause particularly over a long period of time. I’m sure there are other halves on here who have been subjected to vicious verbal or physical attacks just because their partners are on a comedown . For non users multiple your worst hangover by 5 and you’re about there .Add in a bit of jealously usually stemmed from acute paranoia over many years and you have a ticking time bomb. This happens a lot behind closed doors all over the country so the show biz or social media has nothing to do with it . If you were of sound mind you either brush it off or ignore it all together
otherwise there would be hundreds of personalities causing mayhem . It seems these days many celebs want to play the mental health card / fad of the week / food of the month half of them don’t know who they are . They go for all the fitness / healthy food option then go loopy on booze and coke at the weekend , thinking they’ll work it off . Complete nonsense it will try to steal your soul more quickly to some than others . Hence why a lot people keep going as they think well all my friends do it still and they’re all right, everyone is different and people are affected in different ways.
Mental health is a problem but you have to be honest about EVERYTHING otherwise it won’t work . There is no magic bean that counteracts long term c and alcohol abuse . All this talk of 800k signatures for social media privacy is a waste of time it’s not the issue . You’d be better off signing the End of the Line partition.

I feel so sad for Caroline that she had to put everything out on the table for the public to see , but also we don’t know how many times before had she close brushes with the police , I just wish she’d had a caution years before enough to make sit up think .

RIP Caroline
long time reader here, rarely post myself. I totally agree with all of this, brilliant post. My partner has substance misuse issues, maybe that’s why Caroline’s story resonates so much because I recognise the behaviours. c, especially mixed with alcohol, is evil. It turns people you love into someone you barely recognise. It’s torture for them and for people who love them, to see it. The comedown is horrific and it never surprises me when reading about suicides, that c was in the the person’s system.

Also - it’s so confusing a dreadful when someone is drunk/ high/ both. What do you do? You can only do your best in a situation which is out of your control and calling the police is often the only sensible option. My partners behaviour when he is high/ unwell is awful, terrible, heartbreaking. My responses are not always helpful either. When the dust settles - it’s like: what the f happened there. I hate his addition and behaviour but I love him too. I’m sure anyone who has been in that situation can understand that.

New poster here, hi all. After seeing the photos of her flat earlier this week I did wonder if Caroline had hanged herself. She must've been determined to end her life while her friend popped out, and I do wish people wouldn't keep trying to blame the CPS and the media. Andrew Brady had dialled 999 in 2018 when he was worried Caroline was going to kill herself, she self harmed the night she attacked Lewis in December, and her friend dialled 999 on Friday night because she was worried about Caroline, before Caroline finally killed herself the next day. She was obviously a very troubled woman and no matter how sad her death is, I think she was always going to end up doing this unfortunately.

I can't read what you have posted there. Admittedly, my eyesight isn't the best but I think someone with 20/20 vision would struggle!
