More Dunning Kruger Effect (or, in simple terms, she thinks that she’s smarter than she is)She has her views and cobbles together various headlines and interviews and uses this as proof she is RiGHt. She is lacking even the basic ability to question the sources of information. Is it cognitive dissonance? Not sure that’s the right term for it but she’s annoying.
Dunning-Kruger effect, in psychology, a cognitive bias whereby people with limited knowledge or competence in a given intellectual or social domain greatly overestimate their own knowledge or competence in that domain relative to objective criteria or to the performance of their peers or of people in general.
(Cognitive dissonance theory postulates that an underlying psychological tension is created when an individual's behavior is inconsistent with his or her thoughts and beliefs. This underlying tension then motivates an individual to make an attitude change that would produce consistency between thoughts and behaviors.)
