I have no issue with the way she parents (bar the constant landfill she gives as 'treats') but I do think she needs to think a bit more about their digital footprint, they are in some potentially embarrassing situations and Erin is what, 8 now? Only a couple of years and her contemporaries will have / look on social media.

Eek what is parenting wrong with lots of holidays? I take my children on lots of holidays but have a smallish house and have a 9yr old car (no debt) to be able to do this. I always thought I was giving them good childhood experiences/memories over material wealth. I'm now thinking that its spoiling them? Eek.. not to start a argument, just genuinely interested in what you meant x
i meant free holidays/stuff tbh, it’s not like they see their parents saving (no matter what they say) and having a well earned holiday, I kind of get the feeling a lot of ‘influencers’ are given everything on a plate and that has to effect the kids in some way.

If you save and want to spend your hard earned money on holidays then that’s great :)

I think there isnt a lot wrong with what she does but because she cant take any form of criticism and "cries for 3 hours" over a message from a complete stranger she just gets on peoples bits and so they find it hard to see the positive cos she acts a bit of a nob on instagram. she does herself absolutely no favours and is a bit of a narcissist.

like if she just said 'yeah course im gona take my kids on a free holiday wouldnt you??' and not 'im staying out of my dms cos someones been nasty' I think a lot of people would not think she was such a melt

My 6 year old Son has a bath with me
If both people are happy, why do you tell them to go away? It’s not like he’s 16, he’s 6.

I agree putting it on social media is not a great idea but there is literally nothing wrong with it x
All families are different, if they decided as parents that they want to sleep in separate beds then, that’s fine, if she wants to have the kids in the bathroom with her, no problem.
I don’t agree and wouldn’t do a lot of things she does, all the plastic tat rewards, rewarding them for normal behaviour, all the holidays etc, but I wouldn’t say someone is wrong because they do something different to me as a parent, we all make choices to suit our own lives.
I’ll admit half the week I end up in my sons bed and he’s in mine, does it concern me or my husband? No because it won’t last forever
I know plenty of people who bed share, plenty who bath with their children in normal families and I wouldn’t say they were a bad parent or wrong for choosing to do that.

I’m aware that this is a trash thread, and I do agree with most of the things said but unless the kids are in any danger I can’t see why her doing something you wouldn’t should come in to it.
The whole bed thing it’s diffifult my son is same age as Ethan and most nights he’s is in my bed by 2. I am a nurse and do 13 hour shifts and as a family we do what we have to do. My son said to me tonight how come your a adult and you get to sleep with daddy and I am a kid and I’m lonely

So I sent her a DM today saying I thought she’s great but a bit too much like Louise ..... instant reply asking me why I thought that . I replied politely saying the hauls , Disney etc to which she replied she doesn’t copy Louise and that she’s never done a B&M haul and that she’s loved Disney since 2015 . If that is what made her “cry “ for three hours she needs to get off you tube and into some kind of therapy to man up . Ugh you tubers really are pathetic little snow flakes aren’t they ?? All they want is validation and lots and lots of freebies and attention . I worry about Disney obsessed adults I really do
The Disney business freaks me out too - just don’t get it. It would be my idea of hell to be surrounded by people dressed as Goofy and the gang, waving & blowing kisses. And as for wearing Mickey Mouse ears....😳

Are you surprised! Her vlogs are awful and that voice makes you switch off in seconds!
I’m mesmerised by that gap in her teeth.... I guess it’s handy for the pound coin for the shopping trolley though 🙄

Emma’s buying tat again, more future landfill. She finds the ‘buy three get three free’ offer ‘really stressful’. Well, you’re not obligated to take the offer up, Emma. And if that’s stressful for you, I suggest you give your head a wobble and join us in the real world!

I agree with the person above who mentioned boundaries. Once your kids hit school age it's a great idea to start encouraging a little independence. I'm not talking about cutting them off cold turkey. But at 6 years old you should be able to have some kind of dialect with your kids. I usually follow it up by offering to do something else with them at a later date and time. If given a choice, I think my daughters would rather have play time with me then bath time. In fact I'm certain of it.

I can't imagine how embarrassing this will be for Ethan if his friends ever see the video. The poor child seems to have enough emotional and behavior issues already.

Wonder what Ethan’s getting from Claire’s?

Is this a new thing getting Easter presents? My kids get eggs that’s it

I didn’t like anything in her latest clothing haul. That snakeskin dress is bleeping awful.

Our kids get eggs and that's it maybe a nice basket and the easter bunny hides lots of small eggs for a hunt but no presents toys or anything extra like that. Its just to much I remember being a child and being incredible excited for Christmas and my birthday as they were the only times I got brought things. And then incredible excited at finding chocolate eggs.
If she is constantly buying her kids stuff she is taking the excitement of it away and making it a norm not a treat. Plus they will grow to expect it and id like to think my children don't expect anything and are just grateful for what they get.

Eggs and that’s it. It’s Easter not birthday or Christmas. So glad my children are older as it seems every occasion is blown up now. Even Valentine’s Day kids get presents????

A tit tonne of chocolate eggs and that’s it. By the time grandparents and aunts and uncles have given them eggs they have enough for weeks if not months.

It’s crazy how every occasion has to celebrated with a gift of some kind! It takes the meaning out of it, and lets the children believe they can have presents for no apparent reason!
Easter is about eggs, not more landfill tat....oh and if you don’t want the Claire’s buy 3 get 3 free then don’t buy them!!! They do it for a reason??

We have Easter eggs, from family members/friends/neighbours so tend to buy a few crafting bits. My children love making decorations and reading books about different festivals we celebrate. Oh and making chocolate cornflakes into Easter nests, Simnel cake and just focusing more on the traditional stuff. Even if you are not religious or a former RE teacher, it’s just nice to enjoy watching your children learn about how people celebrate. If I was a mummy/family vlogger/influencer, I would really enjoy showing what we had done as a family not be out buying more tat.

They don’t seem to do any activities or crafts together as a family. The buying tat seems to be the way they spend time together and how the children’s affection is bought.

When craft is involved, she appears to just leave the children to do it. I’ve always found this odd, it’s a great time to sit and engage with them and make conversation! I had a nosey tonight and saw she took them in a picnic, which was lovely 🥰.
She had lovely moments, but then spoils it by feeling the need to constantly by tat!

That’s very true. I’ve got a feeling they’re getting quite a bit of tat for Easter, not just Claire’s I think I remember her buying Disney chipmunk toys or something. This rampant consumerism is madness she’ll get a shock when the kids just want money for Christmas what will she doooooo with her days? :ROFLMAO:

I know, imagine his school friends saw a video of his mom mentioning that he still sleeps with her, kids can be very very cruel and that wouldn’t be good

Easter PRESENTS? Why? My husband and I go to church most weeks and take our two who are too young to understand and normally snooze through it. When they’re older they’ll get an egg or two- why do they need presents?

The chances of his friends finding this out are very, very high indeed. I'm sure his friends parents have seen it, they'll know who she is. Interesting article on the BBC website today about kids not wanting their parents to share their photos on social media. It was prompted by Apple Martin (Paltrow) who was annoyed with her mum publishing photos of her without her permission. She's 14 and therefore old enough to understand some of the implications of what her mum did. A six year old cannot understand.

Yeah that’s very interesting, I get that too though I didn’t want my mam posting cringe thing about me when I was 12/13. Anything for a few likes our BM 😂😂😂😂
