What is with the incessant celebrations? Celebrating valentines by buying a ton of landfill Poundland crap for her children, celebrating Instagram followers with helium balloons (yet more landfill), now she’s got some new subs on YouTube so a celebration cake with candles!! People with real jobs dont get cakes & balloons every time they complete a task, because most people with jobs are grown adults!

I don't really get what people write in them
I bought a large planner on amazon that is magnetic for my fridge I like lists so I can write my to do lists and appointments on it and then rub it out
I just think she is trying to fill an otherwise empty and meaningless existence by "making memories" for her kids at every opportunity. Ditto filling her house with plastic crap because she's got jack all to do all day other than shop at pound shops. Go back to work Emma. I bet you were a cracking teacher and absolutely made a difference to those kids' lives. And it made you a more interesting vlogger.
I agree - Emma is a sad loss to the teaching world.
Have you noticed that when she talks about her teaching days her eyes shine and she looks so happy. Why she is wasting her life watching Real Housewives all day is beyond me when she clearly loved her job.
I agree that she was probably a great teacher. Did she give up because of her accident of whatever she did to her back? She mentions a lot about her dodgy leg/foot and wondering if she can even stand to do a teacher's job anymore.
Why do you have to stand to teach RE? Surely you can do it as well sitting down as standing up?

I’ve got a feeling she’ll go back to it eventually but in the meantime I feel like she just likes all the shopping, events and holidays that she probably wouldn’t get to do/be offered if she wasn’t ‘working full time’ on her blog
Teachers need planners and diary’s. It’s hard to have everything on pc/apps. Sometime you just need a good old checklist.
I work in a school and although lessons are often down through the smart board and projected from the laptop in terms of planning and organising nothing beats good old paper and pen.
I didn’t really need planners or notebooks before working in a school though. The diary/calendar on my iPhone to sync with my Mac was good enough. No macs in schools though. Well not around here.
I think she’d do well to go back to teaching as well. She could work part time. The school I’m at has home tutors for medical and vulnerable students and some of them work 2 or 3 hours a week. A one to one home session achieves much more in one hour than several in a class of 20-30.

I meant more from a disability point of view, for example would there be any reason why someone who used a wheelchair couldn't teach RE?
She manages all of her shopping trips, driving, events etc, that can’t be too different to standing during lessons
Teaching sitting down all day would be incredibly difficult. She doesn't need a wheelchair, but sitting down restrict a lot of teaching methods. Sure, people can teach in a wheelchair, but being in a wheelchair actually makes you more mobile than sitting at a desk. I just asked about the teaching because I know it near enough crippled my mother standing on her feet teaching for 40 years. No need for everyone to jump! ?
Ha ha not jumping in at all - it was a genuine question. From other posts I wondered if her mobility problems had been a factor in giving up teaching. It was a looooong time ago when I went to school and I remember my teachers as all pretty immobile ?
She was very normal for want of a better word, just funny and friendly, this was some time ago way before the youtube x
