Agreed, we tried for such a long time to adopt, no rescue interested because of having children.The only thing I will defend is it is impossible to adopt a dog when you have children I have tried but I don’t think for one second Emma tried. We got a puppy as it was safer for the kids in the end as rescues are unpredictable. And I must say watching the kids and puppy grow up together has been amazing and now they are older it gets them out the house every day for a walk and away from screens.

I am 35, eat well and move a lot more than Babs - I even care for my dog by walking her. No risk factors. I know we rightly take the piss out of her but for the sake of her kids, she needs to take care of herself.
