When 🪜 had it, it was the sniffles. Now she’s got it, it’s a stinking cold. I might tally up how many times she moans about it over the next few days, bonus point if she mentions how she’s looking after the “kiddos” with it like some sort of martyr.

I’m sure we’ll all be bowing down in amazement when inspirational babs survives a day of lying on the sofa sniffing while her 10&12 year old amuse themselves. As opposed to doing the same thing but not sniffing every other day. Iconic.

Babs how about you just let your kids do their own thing? Watch films they want, maybe go see some friends, maybe just chill and do fuck all? It doesnt have to be every second is micromanaged

I don’t get it my 5 year old has been an absolute pest since the start of the summer holidays (if I have to hear I’m hungry again I think I’ll scream!!) but my 12 year old no bother she just slobs around the house I see her when it’s lunch but the rest of the time she’s gaming with her mates…. Maybe we could do a swap I’ll have Ethan and she can have my feral 5 year old then she wouldn’t know what hit her!

How did she control a class of teenagers if she’s this worked up over at 10 and 12 year-old who are very easy-going by all accounts, I’m guessing she was the teacher who lost control of her class very easily.

When is her next scheduled "week off"?

Because you'd think it would be while the kids are off school? No???

JFC babs you have a 10 & 12 year old not a bunch of rampant toddlers.

Maybe I'm the world's worse mom but at that age my two were either at the park, at their mates or in a random field . OK we live fairly rurally but Harbs is hardly The Bronx.

Wait until they're 16 & 18, out driving and doing god knows what, or your collecting them drunk from nightclubs that they shouldn't be in.

Christ, the NHS is on its knees and here we have Bab, who no doubt will insist the lanky streak of piss drive her to A & E where she'll be seen in record time, consulted with a chest specialist then will recount the story with a " I nearly ended up on ituIt's OK tho everyone I shall receive a certificate of martyrdom printed off by Ste and the Wets will provide childcare and do my bidding." What a fucking waste of space!

So basically she's having a duvet day, while the old enough to entertain themselves children entertain themselves

Just going back to Barbie for a minute - I was really surprised she actually saw the film with the girls - my daughter is the same age & I’m driving a bunch of them to see it, but I’ll park up & do my own thing for a couple of hours, she’d be mortified if I went in with them to supervise them buying tickets and sweets, let alone actually watch the film with them.

I was thinking about her struggling to let go of E in this way & it did occur to me with influencer kids perhaps parents are genuinely worried about letting them be out & about on their own, because they’ve overshared so much of their lives for so long, it is a real risk that strangers will recognise her, know a lot about her etc. Perhaps she feels she can’t let her out without a chaperone.

She doesn’t know what’s going to hit her, my just turned 18 year old hasn’t been home in days. Got her car staying at different friends god knows what she’s up to. Been out clubbing last two weekends and has been a right mess, two festivals coming up so more incoming carnage
Can wait to see her little tween vaping and drinking

Is it normal to keep hiding snacks away from the rest of the family?
Only when you do not want them to see how much you really eat in a day. She is used to being at home on her own most of the time so she can chomp to her hearts content. All those B&M, Home Bargains hauls will come with an extra side of ‘Mom snacks’ which will be hidden as Babs does not share!
