No, I never liked watching myself haha. I know channel 4 sold the rights awhile ago but wasnt sure which channel it was on now. If I tried putting it on my kids would probably be like what are you watching this for?!!Welcome! Gosh it must be strange for you seeing yourself! Are you watching the reruns?
I don’t know if you have any daughters but did they look like you when you were that age?No, I never liked watching myself haha. Aw its so nice to read these messages haha. Our Claire!!!Brookside royalty you were the first born in a storyline. Obviously you know that! I say this because when we first started watching at ours we mentioned the Grant baby storyline as one we remembered. Are you watching the old episodes?
Can't remember, did you have any lines in later episodes?
So many questionsare you in touch with any of the original cast? Have you done any more TV work since? What are you doing these days?
I'll be reporting back to my husband later
Everyone says my daughter does or did (different hair colour) but I don't see it at all!I don’t know if you have any daughters but did they look like you when you were that age?

We love it, Wednesday night when STV drop 5 episodes is our favourite night sat in front of the TV. It's the nostalgia for us, spotting actors, love to see the 80's fashion, house furnishings, cars etc. I think the reruns show how ahead of it's time it really was, the writers all did a great job.Aw its so nice to read these messages haha.
Yes I remember being the only child on set for ages, it was always so exciting if there was another child around!
I once asked why my name wasn't on the credits so I did get given lines on a couple of occasions but then refused to say them lol.
One of my parents was a writer for it so they are still good friends with Ricky and in touch with Sue.
But honestly, I hated the attention haha. I could have been in the final episode but didn't want to. I remember the make up chair and wardrobe department being the most exciting place, I've always worked in fashion type jobs and did my degree in that too ..... I think my family didn't anticipate the level of attention I got at the time so I think that's why I was taken out when I was 5. I was 6 weeks old when I was first brought to set and its funny but even now I can pick out Sue Johnston's voice on an advert instantly it always sounds so familiar.
My best memory is when Madge from Neighbours came to visit the set (no idea why lol). She was so nice and gave me a big hug. My parents were at a dinner party later and she was talking about the young girl she worked with wanting to leave Neighbours to start a pop career and the brookie cast were saying what a fool she is giving up a good job like that...of course it was Kylie Minogue haha
If Madge/Anne Charleston was talking about some young girl wanting to leave Neighbours to start a pop career (Kylie), then that would have been around 1987/88 just before her pop career started, not at the end of Brookie’s runWas there some sort of Brookie/Neighbours mash up towards the end of the final shows? Seem to remember that being a thing, maybe that's why Madge was there?
I didn't watch towards the end, so will be good to catch those episodes.
yes it was around 1988. it's nice that people still watch it and enjoy itIf Madge/Anne Charleston was talking about some young girl wanting to leave Neighbours to start a pop career (Kylie), then that would have been around 1987/88 just before her pop career started, not at the end of Brookie’s run
Oh yes, excuse me, my brain cells don't wake up properly on a SundayIf Madge/Anne Charleston was talking about some young girl wanting to leave Neighbours to start a pop career (Kylie), then that would have been around 1987/88 just before her pop career started, not at the end of Brookie’s run
Are you able to download the STV app?Can someone please tell me how to watch this in Ireland. Can't find it anywhere
