I watched Brookside back in the day and I'm watching about 5 episodes a night on youtube. I live in Portugal and can't get access via iplayer or whatever its called. 🤣 I'm on episodes 1945 to 1949 September 97. Its just brilliant. So addictive. 🤣

Paddy was Bobby's brother and it's definitely Matty who's the Dad. I googled as well to see what the hell happens next coz I don't remember! 100% Matty though!

Have been waiting for this episode since it was mentioned earlier in the thread.

Watching the way Barry is hostile towards Sue in the lead up is haunting

Still a while to go, it was a special for the 1000th episode.

End of an era with Sheila and Billy leaving, I'll miss them, loved Sheila throwing Doreen out!
Am fed up with this Godden storyline.
Max is annoying just like his alarm!
Loved Sammy's hair!

You've already missed Damon being stabbed to death, his mum being SA'd, a siege ending in a death, a dodgy light leading someone to be electrocuted and fall down the stairs to her death, a husband dying in bed next to his wife of a brain tumor he didn't know he had... Have I missed anything else? 🤣

Agree about sizzzzzzler, crap actor!! Also too much of Johnathon, I don't care!!
Sad watching Sheila leave, end of an era.
Loving Jamie, he's really coming across as a good lad.
Think that's the last we've seen of Chris, shame,I quite liked him.
