I do kind of get why people enjoy it when it's so absolutely not for me (crowds, queues, noise, rides etc) it's just the "nostalgia" line that I don't understand, especially how it never seems to apply to anywhere else on the planet (maybe I just didn't get the magic in me at a young enough age; we were never a theme park family and I didn't go to DLP until I was sixteen).

Brogan saying "I love to do subtle Disney" and Benjamin shopping for a ladies scarf. Both are only fooling themselves!

It's not nostalgia for me as I didn't go as a child. I went to WDW for the first time when I was 17 and just loved it. I got chatting to cast members and decided I wanted to work there. Luckily had the chance to work at WDW for a year when I was in my early 20s and I loved the whole experience. For me it just feels magical. Yes I'm an adult and I know it's a themepark and stuff isn't real but I don't see the harm in just embracing it and having fun. I took my partner when he was 30 - he'd never been to Disney and didn't really "get" it until we were there. I don't get to go often so it feels special when I do. I worked with many people who went to WDW every year as a family holiday so can totally get that for some it is nostalgia.

I've never cried when I see the castle though.

Sorry can't comment on the vlog , it was so dull the last thing i remember was them getting on train in Brussels before i fell asleep !!!

I never went as a child but had a set of childrens encyclopedias that had a section about Disney. There was a picture of people sat on the kerb watching the parade that I would look at all the time growing up.
I may have got teary eyed when I finally got to do it myself ..... if only id forced out more tears and an ugly crying face whilst filming it

Brogan, we paid X for the hotel and tickets and Y for the extras as I know you all like to know the price of things . . . .but will never reveal how much they sunk on the sham wedding cruise!!
I see it as she saw the prices being discussed on here and felt she had to defend herself and correct everyone saying she booked early so it only cost £1700 and not the £3-£4k being discussed here

I'm not a Disney fan but can understand the enjoyment of the spectacle that is Disney in all its parks. I've been to DLP once, I was 39yrs old, took our son and teenage niece and totally felt the magic approaching the park and loved seeing Mickey and Minnie House so I do get it, but you can never replicate that 'first time' feeling so why Brogey Bubbles and Bearded Benjamin carry on as they do is beyond me and 100% for the audience.

It’s weird because when she announced (first catch up vlog after the cruise I think) she made it sound like they just booked it spontaneously.

no wonder ma’julie made the decision to get Bonnie put down, Bonnie was basically her dog.
those two twats didn’t deserve her

All my holidays as a child were 2 weeks in a caravan in Wales and they were the best holidays ever. Even if it was chucking it down with rain, we were camped out on the beach every day because it was the only break my dad got from work every year and I loved every second of it. We watched all the Disney films but I never had any merchandise, my parents never dressed me up as a princess, it was all about the stories (I was and still am a big book worm).

Fast forward a couple of decades and my now husband and I are planning our wedding. We're a little stuck for a honeymoon idea as we love to be doing things on holiday - as much as I love reading, I can only sit by a pool for about 30 minutes before I'm itching to get up and do something. So my husband asks "what's the one place you've always wanted to go?" and the first thing out of my mouth was Walt Disney World and I was kind of joking. Next thing I know, we're watching a couple of Youtube videos on WDW and it starts becoming a serious idea. He'd been to Florida a few times as a kid and always wanted to go back as an adult. Cutting a long story short we booked a week in WDW and then went up to New York so he could go watch his NFL team (the "bucket list" thing he always wanted to do).

The first day we walked into Magic Kingdom I was a little in awe at actually being in a place I never thought I'd get a chance to go to. It was everything we were looking for in a special trip - amazing service, lots of things to do, opportunities for relaxing when we wanted to, great food and the attention to detail and theming was beyond anything I had imagined. Beauty and the Beast was my favourite film growing up and actually meeting "Belle" made me cry; it was probably a lot of nostalgia and yes I know it's a girl in a dress and Belle is a fictional character, but it transported me back to all those hours watching the film with my mum and dad.

And the love for it grew from there. I can't explain what it is about the Disney parks that I love, but I guess it's that it gives me a chance to get some escape and immerse myself in the magic bubble for a little while. I don't cry at the castle, I don't dress like the Disney store threw up on me, my house is not a shrine to the Disney corporation, but I do love Disney. We don't go every year or even every other year, yes we've been to all but the China parks, but we love exploring the world too (and I don't mean It's a Small World or World Showcase).

Is it nostalgia for me, probably a bit, but also I think about all the memories I've made with my husband there. Like when we went on a horse drawn carriage ride through Port Orleans with hot chocolate on our honeymoon, or organising the Dapper Dans to sing to me in Disneyland on my birthday.

But the way Brogladyte and Binjuice react and "do" Disney is a million miles away from our way of doing it. Each to their own and you do you, but it infuriates me how people see them and their trips and think that's how everyone "does" a Disney trip.

I have zero problem with adults being emotional or crying at things. The Epcot fireworks (I last went in 2008 so that version) made me well up. The whole experience made my cynical AF Dad act like a little kid at times which was so lovely to see. I get the Disney magic and I loved it and it truly spoilt me for everything else lol.

What I will never get is these fcking imbeciles shoving a camera in their face to record it. So I'm with the fake and contrived gang here for that.

Get therapy Bogie, it will be cheaper than the tat from one of your hauls, make you feel better about yourself and stop your lodger infantilizing you.

I'm the same, been know to fill up with tears at Disney fireworks. The thing that gets to me is she goes so frequently but acts as if she's "so blessed" and it's a once in a lifetime event!

I don't know, I don't see it as any different to anyone who makes their whole personality rooting for teams in one or a couple sports. The YouTubers/IGers/TikTokkers are all just braggy and preformative. You could replace Disney with almost anything and they'd act the same way.

I shed a little tear when I go... but that's probably because I don't go as often as Brogan... also I don't bawl like her.

I was very emotional on my first trip to WDW as I had been planning it very over a year. But she goes all the bloody time.

I watched her at the very start and I do not recall her ever once mentioning Disney before she wormed her way in with Charlotte, adopted her personality and realised there was coin to be made from Disney themed videos. If you remember her flat, there was no Disney anywhere.

I find this supposed lifelong obsession to be so disingenuous.

100%, I was watching Disney Vlogs when trip planning years ago, then she turned up bleating on about knowing everything. Looked back at her old dull content and there was nothing Disney related in any of it.

She's a complete fraud in all honesty!

It actually breaks my heart a little to see such a change in so little time. She could do all the things with the money she’s frittered into becoming healthier and fitter. It’s such a shame really to see it happen in front of you. I guess she needs to see it for herself. I’ve damaged my body including my liver by eating like Brogan. I thought I was young and invisible. If I’d have seen these pictures about myself it wouldn’t be a wake up call.

She doesn’t have a 9-5 or a commute or any kids. She could go to the gym every single day and stagger her exercise (so something more intense, something more relaxing). Her house husband cooks for her every day! She has all the time in the world to take care of herself and her body and her skin - there is absolutely NO reason why she isn’t the queen of self-care.

I am genuinely really jealous of her and the amount of time and money she has - I have just quit my insanely stressful job where I was working 7am -7pm most days, and sometimes as late as 10pm. I am hoping my next job gives me more balance to do things like exercise and take care of myself. Brogan should take note!

When I first had her show up on my feed during lockdown and they were watching Netflix in an AirB&B in Cali while ordering UberEats instead of being out sightseeing, at any of the number of theme parks in the area or enjoying a meal at a nice local restaurant, I knew they were a pair of muppets and immediately found Tattle!

The rest is history!

That’s the problem with all the rinse and repeat Disney crowd. They go so often that the shine and excitement has worn off and they have to put on this fact overly dramatic persona since they’re too fucking stupid to actually produce decent content.

And they became so complacent and skipped rides for being too long despite it being their favourite and then the world went into lockdown and they couldn't ride their beloved Flight of Passage.
They have also started to one up each other flying business class and staying in deluxe etc when it is hard to see how some of them are affording it

I think Brogan and Benji have found comfort in the disney parks which a lot of people do, it can be an easy holiday with people wanting to be nice to you and take care of you, but don't fake this deep rooted love which is evident when they can't even name characters or movies

You hit the nail on the head there, one or two of them got DVC, or flew Upper etc, and the others see the content does well so they try so hard to hop on the bandwagon.

I know I've mentioned elsewhere, but I really believe to really make a good YT career it doesn't really matter about the type of content, or clever editing, you need to be:
  • Yourself - It really helps that if in real life you actually have a personality and you can then be yourself
  • Have a story to tell
  • Know where the line is in terms of content for the audience you've aquired
  • Be consistant

I watch this guy, Mat Armstrong, he worked at a garage before Covid, during covid he obviously got furloughed and started uploading videos of himself working on his car, he then was able to invest his YT money and buy crashed damaged cars, repairing them then selling or giving them away in raffles. He's just bought and repaired Marcus Rashford's crashed Rolls Royce as an example.

He's very likeable, works very hard, and to be honest it does seem like part of it is luck that it all came together (timing when we were all stuck in watching Youtube and Netflix). He tells a story, goes on adventures relating to cars and his channel has progressed to 3millon subs in 3/4 years.

The Disney Vloggers are not in control of when Disney opens a new ride, or cruise route etc, none of them will ever be able to grow their channels as there is a limit, and it's been reached. IMHO they are not Youtubers, they are grifters who don't want a real job.

Yes, it's so dumb. My love of it was my mother liked the Disney movies. We lived in South Florida in the 70s, so my mother took us to Disney when it first opened and a number of times until we moved away in early 1980s. So, to me, experiencing those things in addition to just being fun, transports me back to childhood when my mother took us.
