Finally someone mentioning the mum and sister! I didn't listen to the full testimony but did Britney mention either of them in it? They're just as guilty IMO.Another thing I think is shady about the bf...is he is in some of those bizarre insta vids .....and she looks a mess. I know she said she couldn’t get her hair done or nails etc.....but the bad make up the scruffy hair , even if she just brushed into a high pony and moisturiserised with 0 black eyeliner etc.... if he cared he would not let her be presented to the world looking like that!!!!!

I didn’t think I’d feel as shocked as I do about what she’s said and been through. It’s so awful it almost doesn’t feel real somehow. The fact that it’s been happening in plain sight adds to that too.

I genuinely think Blackout is SUCH an underrated album - my favourite of hers. She got a knee injury while filming the video for Outrageous and I think that may have affected how it was marketed?I remember a couple of years ago she was asked by a reporter (as she was getting into her car) if she would ever perform again, and she cheerfully said “of course!”. But a lot has happened since then, so who knows. It seems like she really loves dancing, so if performing truly makes her happy then I really hope she does. But like you I would totally understand and respect her decision if she retires. And yes, keeping everything crossed for Wednesday.
On a lighter note, Blackout was suuuch an incredible album, I remember when I first heard it, I couldn’t believe she’d come out with that after so much turmoil

damn. It’s devastating to hear what she’s been through, but it feels like such a relief for her to finally be able to speak freely. Be strong Britney, so many people around the world are on your side.
I truly hope Britney will get her wish and have Jodie stay around to manage things, which is apparently what Britney wants if TMZ is to be believed (I know!).

Whoa that sounds really plausible. I did think the IUD and marriage clauses were weird. I know that some women can be deeply affected by peripartum/postpartum mood disorders, including psychosis and mania except if that were a possibility for a wealthy woman, there would be legal ways to protect her finances and hold money in trusts for her kids and herself to prevent any mental health related recklessness if such a woman wanted to take on the risks of pregnancy despite all that. It doesn't call for an involuntary IUD.

Yes everyone is so sad when I explain what she’s going throughI can relate too. I wouldn’t even call myself a mega fan, but I love a lot of her music, and really like her as a person. I love pop music and she’s an icon of the genre.
And like everyone’s said better than I could, she’s a genuinely good person, you wouldn’t blame her if she’d become bitter but she never has a bad word to say about anyone. No one I know in real life if really interested in talking about Britney, its why I’m glad about this thread! Although when I explain the situation she’s in now to people, they’re genuinely shocked and gutted for her.

I think the guy is just an easy booking, he's got agents so easy to get hold of and is media trained. The producers want someone on to fill that slot, he's there and they don't really care enough to make the extra effort to get someone better.
