it's true her instagram makes her look like someone who's mentally unstable, but surely it can't be used as a proof in favour of the cship in court. I mean, hasn't the judge heard the way Britney articulates her speech and how she's totally capable of evaluating a situation and understand problems?
If anything her social media should be a proof of how fcked up her team is and how manipulative they are by changing the whole story.

Just to clarify for people, this isn’t a case for termination, Britney still has to file to terminate (she said she didn’t know she could do that which is why she hasn’t done it already). She wants to change lawyers and terminate the c’ship so we’re still looking at months of court dates.
I hope she’s safe and this has scared the team. The world is watching.

House in habit posted an update: Britney’s lawyer is petitioning to bring the court date forward again.
He has also questioning the extortionate fees paid to Tristar despite Britney starting her hiatus.

Hopefully Jamie’s days are numbered now.

Wow, I actually felt a bit emotional reading that letter. It is amazing how she’s raised awareness of how awful c’ships can be, and that there are thousands of other people in a similar situation. She’s given them a voice, and it’s so powerful because sadly in that situation it‘s not easy to speak out about it.
I also love that they mention her talent.

Exactly this! So many of us have mental health problems, like you say from lockdown's etc, but also just pre-existing anyway, life's bloody hard! I honestly don't think I would be 10% as functioning as Britney if I had been through what she has. She has the strength of 1000 bulls and I hope one day she can use it to give all the people responsible for putting her here, exactly what they deserve. Although it will never give her back what they have taken from her which is the worst part of it all. Mental health issues does not mean someone shouldn't get married or have a baby, just that they might need more support, support being the operative word here, a team who have her back, not what she has now.

exactly, I also think growing up as a child star often leads to mental health issues later on as you have basically missed a lot of "normal" childhood milestones. Obviously her situation is much more extreme for various reasons

Britney is still in desperate need of help in the short term at the very least. Ultimately I hope she gets a team that can and will autonomously, truthfully and honestly help her work through her issues, and get them treated, rather than milked.

It was so sad to watch she was robotic and clearly didn’t know where she was.

I watched the documentary on now tv. I could probably list a whole page of people who are in much worse mental states than Britney ever has been who still get to run their own life!

Whilst I am completely against her Dad controlling her life, it’s obvious to me that Britney doesn’t have the capacity to make the best decisions for herself, I think the bf is dodgy AF. I saw a blind on Blind Gossip, not sure if that’s been posted. I don’t think getting married or having another child is a sensible decision for her. She also doesn’t seem to like ‘Ms Montgomery’ the joint conservator?


Wish Felicia was there for her but would Britney want her to be? I do believe she lacks capacity to manage her money and make the right judgements in life but Jamie should be removed entirely. I don’t understand why her siblings have not spoken on it and I feel that we don’t know the medical information for her own good.

Would you like someone like Jodie montogomery been in control of YOU? did you listen to what Britney said on Wednesday? Did you hear what she was saying about her family and team? That they should all be in jail/sued for the way they’ve abused her? . Maybe she does need some help with certain things in her life but to the extent of what’s she’s under now? Absolutely not!! It has been so sad to see her decline over the last few years. It was obvious to everyone she was heavily medicated and was really unhappy. Her mental health was not good, in fact she just wasn't in a good place in any way. I hope for her sake it all ends soon and she can start living again. I hope she eventually finds peace and happiness she hasn't had for such a long time.

While it’s very possible Britney needs support and care it’s also right that she does it on her own terms like the vast majority of (non-wealthy) people.

The New York Times obtained sealed courted documents which reveal some very damning information that confirm a lot of stuff that until now has been speculative, the day before Britney speaks to the court for the first time in 13 years

The main points are:

- She first officially expressed her desire to end the conservatorship to the judge in 2014
- By 2016 in her own words Britney describes the conservatorship as "oppressive and controlling"
- She describes a time when she was forced to perform with a 40 degree temperature (fans have since found the video of her on stage when she says "I'm sick right now, I have a 104 fever!"). Britney describes it as "the scariest moment of her life"
- Five years ago she says she wants the c-ship terminated ASAP as she is "sick of being taken advantage of" and making money for everyone around her
- She describes wanting to refurbish her kitchen cabinets and being refused because "too much money is being spent". The same documents outline that Britney who is worth $60million was given a weekly budget of $2k. $850,000 was spent on court bills.
- In 2019 she told the court she was forced to stay in rehab against her will as punishment after refusing to perform

Weeks later her Vegas residency was cancelled and Britney hasn't worked a single day since. It's been two years and eight months since Britney has performed or worked.

Have you watched the documentary that's Jayceonce and his friend made on youtube? It's a deep dive into the Free Britney movement and explains the conservatorship etc. It's really good.

Jamie Lynn and Lynn are just as bad as her Dad. They've done alot of messed up stuff to Britney and it appears they are on the payroll so happy to take Britneys money and live off it but at the detrement of Britney.

I have side eyed Jamie Lynn for a long time. She’s still’friendly’ with Lou Taylor . Her entire family have never truly had her best interests at heart. I can not wait for the day she can walk away from all of this and I hope one day she will tell the full story IF she wants to. I do think she will perform again some day because that’s what she loves to do whether that be just opening up her own dance school or whatever she wants to do. I just want her out of this ASAP .

Does anyone else think, looking at the court docs etc… that the mental health/capacity issues actually are the parents? No wonder Britney lost her mind if she had these narcs raising her… if it wasn’t for their abuse she may never have had her breakdown? Absolutely...well you could say the same thing for the the whole team of con. Who in their right minds could do such a thing to a human being?!!!! I’m sure everyone read/heard rumours years ago which turned out to be true but it took that for the ball to really start rolling. Now we’re here...Britney is so strong.
