I know that in Lynne’s book she referred to Jamie as ‘verbally aggressive’ (pretty sure there hasn’t been physical assault allegations against him @MrsLucas) but from analysing Britney’s words I really hope Jamie wasn’t/isn’t physical when drunk. What a truly horrid man. How can someone who is probably incapable of managing himself run a conservatorship?!

It has been so sad to see her decline over the last few years. It was obvious to everyone she was heavily medicated and was really unhappy. Her mental health was not good, in fact she just wasn't in a good place in any way. I hope for her sake it all ends soon and she can start living again. I hope she eventually finds peace and happiness she hasn't had for such a long time.

I am living for @houseinhabits Britney updates on Instagram. Claims that Brit has always controlled her own insta account though… I’m conflicted…? But also very aware that Brit has been living in the conservatorship bubble for a long time so would be very out of touch with a lot of reality. Yes yes yes!! I too was a young mum, younger than Britney I was just 18 when I had my daughter. I had post natal depression. That’s what I believe britney had. I can’t even imagine what it must have been like for her. Just having her baby boy and her husband cheating then falling pregnant again then losing one of your closest family members. My god they treated her like absolute SHIT. When I was growing up I literally idolised Britney like so many did. I do of course still love her now. I won’t stop ever loving and supporting my queen. Everything she’s been through and everything she’s been able to do/give for her family they are all a disgrace!!

I've ALWAYS thought it was post-natal depression, yet never once saw it mentioned as a possibility back in 2007/8. She had two babies in the space of 12 months, and it's hard to believe that it didn't play a part in her breakdown.

From my understanding this is a ruling relating back to last November. Maybe, just maybe the judge is thinking that Britney has all the evidence against her father to end the conservatorship completely so at this stage in the game there’s no real point in removing her father and finding someone else. If all the evidence in the case for ending the conservatorship is against her father then surely appointing someone new just puts the whole sage back another step. I’m probably making no sense but I know what I’m trying to say

I have just finished reading through the last pages of this thread and your thoughts, I was following relentlessly on Twitter last night but thought I’d wait to today to recalibrate my thoughts. I was also thinking of @MrsLucas too - hope you’re okay.

So many ‘wow’ moments and bombshells from Britney’s testimony. Firstly I am so proud of her for the way in which she conducted herself, how brave she was and has been and tbh I was also very relieved that she could articulate herself much better than her Instagram page.

I am long-time Britney fan and whilst I am not actually surprised to hear the revelations, it’s still shocking to hear from the horses mouth especially has Britney has been so private or should I say been forced to be private. I have so many thoughts and questions that I don’t know where to start!

Does anyone know what the story is with Lynne, she seems half loyal and in there with Britney but Britney seemed to be anti her whole family? That interview with Bryan and the podcaster last year was also total BS, painting the conservership as basically fine with a few changes needed…seriously? Jamie-Lynne, like what is going on? She has been useless and so passive throughout this. I wonder are they communicating?

I feel for Britney on just so, so many levels. Having your whole family and conspire against you, living like a prisoner with no release date. As she said herself in for the record it’s like groundhog day every day and this was back in 2008. The only true pure love she has is with her sons
