She does make such a big deal of it just because he was born there. My ex was born in Scotland (his parents aren't Scottish) and left when he was about 4 years old and when we lived together we didn't celebrate him being "Scottish" I feel as though Scott might have been born there but he didn't grow up there? She's making a big deal out of nothing as always. Surprised she doesn't wear lederhosen because she lived in Germany don't you know?

I was disgusted when I read she reminds Sienna of all the 'nice' things she has done for her. That is emotional blackmail. Also, you're not being nice, you're being a fucking parent.
My child did not ask to be here, I made her and it is my sole purpose as her Mother to nurture her to grow and learn but most of all feel incredibly loved and understood. I do 'nice' things because I love her unconditionally, not because it is a transaction for her to show good behaviour!
I don't usually comment on peoples parenting styles, because we are all different. But I'd rather spend an hour playing dolls with my daughter and really getting to know her and communicate with her than buying expensive shoes and taking 876568 posed photos to make it look like I'm a good parent.

I liked a few posts and had even had direct messages with her before, still got culled, I get that it’s her account to do with as she pleases but she gave people access to her life, got them invested, then discarded them without a second thought. The few here with their eyes open look on with a raised eyebrow, but there’ll be people who genuinely like her who will have been upset and hurt at being thrown away when they did nothing to deserve it, to do that without any warning or apology is an intensely selfish, self centred thing to do

I also dont think it appropriate to be out at 10pm drinking on a saturday night with a small child. Meal or no meal.
I only drink when my daughter is sleeping out for the night, which is very rare. My partner is welcome to have a few drinks but I wont touch alcohol as what if something happens or she is unwell in the night?

Ffs. There’s nobody celebrates burns night as much as folk that aren’t even Scottish. It’s like the arseholes in America that have an ancestor in 1320 who knew someone Scottish but they still walk about in kilts on ‘tartan day’ saying they’re from scotchlandTheres really not much to see. We’re having guid ol self named rabbie burns curry tonight in our house, otherwise known as just a curry because I’m Scottish and don’t celebrate a poet that died over 200 years ago.
This is so sad. Never hear of sienna going to play with any friends or them coming round. Her friends are all expected to be 40 year old drunks like her parents

I don’t even have haggis, I don’t know anyone who makes a big thing of it! Maybe myself and everyone else I know is just weird by not celebrating it. But to me they just use it as another excuse for a piss uo
