It is appalling I agree but typical of Johnson. One of the greatest cons in British political history has been to persuade red wall voters that he was on their side. When in fact he holds them all in total contempt.
Why on earth did ordinary people fall for it. It really annoys when some idiots still declare that he is a nice guy a bit if a buffoon but nice. Some of the working classes get conned so easily by their so called betters.

Jacob Rees-Mogg can come out with the most ridiculous piffle but because he speaks in a posh voice and looks like Lord Snooty many people assume he is speaking with authority and intelligence. How refreshing has it been to see Mick Lynch cutting through the waffle and just trying to talk, with insight and intelligence, about the issues?

I so agree he is genuinely intelligent not a product of a public school where pupils are taught to debate from a very young age. Jacob Rees Mogg plays the stereotype of an aristocrat as he has a huge inferiority complex. He is nobility on his father's side but his Dad married Gillian his secretary who's father had come from a very humble family in Cardiganshire in Wales. Like many other Welshmen he escaped poverty by going to London to start a Dairy business. So on his Mum's side he is Welsh peasant through and through. God he must hate it !!!

I don't know if Mick Lynch is intelligent but I don't think it matters in this context. He appears to be knowledgeable about the issues (as you would expect) and it is this and his calm demeanour that has exposed the ignorance of a succession of tv presenters, journalists and MPs regurgitating government propaganda. Of course we don't know if everything he is saying is entirely factual either but this illustrates the problem that there are few if any people that we can trust for an unbiased explanation of facts anymore (if we ever could).

Strap in lads! We're in the for the long haul!

This is probably the length of time he figured he needs to completely strip the country of its assets and values, and hand over the profits to his buddies.

Or he wants to add another hyperbolic achievement to his reputation.

Johnson has as much chance of beating Mrs Thatcher's post-war record as I have of going to the moon.

Mrs Thatcher was clever. She had a team of very good party managers (whips) who kept people in line and made sure anyone who was unreliable was dropped (gently, often with a peerage), she was also very good at remembering MP's wives, children etc. names, and could be very sympathetic when an MP had personal troubles (wife divorcing them etc.). Obviously, like all long-serving PMs, they become complacent and she went full mad with the poll tax.

Johnson treats everyone with contempt. He has no real close friends, only people he uses and discards (like wives). He has no real allies like Mrs Thatcher did, and his authority will drip away, hopefully before Xmas.

Poor little children to have this gruesome pair as biological parents. They may be "privileged" materially but in terms of emotional nurturing they can expect precious little.

I find it hard to think of anything much more revolting than catching Johnson and Carrie in flagrante. He must not have been terribly busy that afternoon, not like there's a cost of living crisis or a war on or anything.

Another day, another Tory scandal..More sleaze for The Great Diplomat to deal with on his return from singly sorting out the world and cosying up to his pal Volod..

There’s a rumour that they were caught at it by Gormless Gavin Williamson- which is how he ended up in the House of Lords.
Not enough brain bleach in the bloody world. 🤢
