Finished Endless Night ( ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ) If you want a creepy/dark Agatha Christie without Hercule Poirot or Miss Marple, that's a very good one.

I'm trying to alternate fiction and non-fiction, so now reading The Ritual Effect (non fiction about the importance of habits), I already know it'll be one of those non fiction that could have been a solid 200 pages instead of waffling for 300+ pages...

I'm currently nearing the end of Crescent City book 2 - if I'm honest I only read them because of the upcoming new ACOTAR's and everyone saying there was crossover but I am loving them? The last 30% of book one was some of the best I've read in ages. I prefer them so much to ACOTAR and yet everyone's commentary on the CC series online seems to be negative. I'm excited to finish book 2 tonight and crack open book 3 over the weekend as I have a weekend with no plans

I need to read Book 3 soon also. I loved Book 1 and 2 ❤ I found it more gripping than ACOTAR (which I still enjoyed).

Oh crikey what a review:

“Life of M is every bit as celebrity-obsessed as the trashiest tabloid... this is a novel-length version of a blind item in the Popbitch newsletter” - Private Eye, on the new Rachel Cusk book
I just got this book out from the library. I’ve only read a few pages so far. The reviews I’ve seen haven’t been great so far, but the whole messiness of the story makes me want to read it!

I don't know why I keep trying second-chance romances when it's really not my thing (Persuasion excepted, but maybe it ruined me for all others), especially because it nearly always leaves me thinking that breaking up was the right thing to do.

Make the Season Bright by Ashley Herring Blake... I might have to dnf halfway through. One of them left the other at the altar without a word, literally disappeared whilst her fiancée was walking down the aisle, and thinks the ex is super unreasonable for not wanting to hear her out after?

Cannot see me rooting for these two to get back together.
