I made it to the end of Atmosphere! Too much space and felt a bit try hard. I’ve loved some of the other TJR so I was disappointed.
this is why I love reading because its all just so subjective and i find people’s views so fascinating.I made it to the end of Atmosphere! Too much space and felt a bit try hard. I’ve loved some of the other TJR so I was disappointed.

I did it on audio and that deffo helped! The suspense was built better! I wouldn’t have enjoyed it any other way! So fully agreethis is why I love reading because its all just so subjective and i find people’s views so fascinating.
I personally found it didnt have alot of ‘space’ and was basically a romance with space thrown in there somewhere, but it wasn’t the focus.
i listened to it on Audio and I do think this is one of those books that the audio makes it that much better, I don’t think I would have loved it as much as I did if I read it.
I read this one once (and none of the others) and it was ridiculous but so much funJust started Dame Jilly’s 4th book in the Rutshire chronicles The Man Who Made Husbands Jealous - exactly the kind of fun read I need right now!
I've got the DVD. Someone dumped it in our works book library. It was out of a Sunday newspaper.I read this one once (and none of the others) and it was ridiculous but so much fun![]()

I thought the same about The Correspondent. I dont know why so many people felt such kinship with Sybil, I really did not like her at all.I read and enjoyed Atmosphere but I don't understand how it has made it on to so many lists of best books. It was an enjoyable read, as was The Correspondant but don't think either really deserve the hype they have.
They both must have great publicity machines behind them.
I’m really interested in the publishing industry and how the sausage gets made. I’m currently watching Younger and it’s funny to see how certain publishing trends and tropes were gently satirised in the show.I read and enjoyed Atmosphere but I don't understand how it has made it on to so many lists of best books.
