I asked that question as I realised I finished one book and instantly picked the next one up. I think I do that the majority of the time.

Just finished don’t fall in love with me, Paige Toons new one. I loved it. She’s become my favourite author!
I picked up a couple in Asda the other day which looked good, had anyone read atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid and clean girl spring by willow hurst? I’ve not read any of TJR books before but I’m sure I’ve seen her recommended on here previously.

LOVED atmosphere. I think it’s my favourite of hers.
For balance, did not love Atmosphere. Found it anticlimactic and weirdly paced. My favorite TJR is Carrie Soto is Back, and I feel like that's the only one I really whole heartedly recommend. Her books are very hit miss for me.
Once I get to about 80% of my current book I start thinking about what I’m going to read next. If I finish it and haven’t thought this, it’s the sign of a really good book!
Currently reading Sunset by Jessie Cave and really loving it.
I’ve just realised it’s the end of the month and tomorrow brings new kindle deals! yay!
No five star reads this month.
that book DEVASTATED me. even when i see it on my shelf now it makes it sad. it reminds me a lot of stoner in how quietly heartbreaking it is

I really, really loved the ending, especially in company with Life After Life, but the last half broke my heart a lot, mostly Sunny and Nancy. Some great books this month - Star Shippers was exactly what I needed, and I really loved the last three of the month (Orlanda - weird but in a fun way, Theatre - I always forget how savage W Somerset Maugham can be, and of course A God in Ruins).
I was midway through How to Fake it in Society when I checked instagram and found KJ Charles's story featuring a reel of a player scoring against the rugby team I support. Social media really can ruin your reading habits

i thought it was such a step-up in writing quality (though still i guess not amazing) but i love ilya and shane so deeply that i forgave it almost all of its faults
I loved it! Honestly, Shane bores me a little, but Ilya more than makes up for it - and Shane redeemed himself in the end. I zipped right through it and can't wait for the next one!but but WHAT DID YOU THINK OF THE LONG GAME?!?

i love ilya so much (shane was sometimes difficult to like in this one but he absolutely did redeem himself) - i’m so sad unrivaled has been pushed back, especially now i hear it has more of my boy luca. i’m so attached to all the ottawa team that i can’t wait to see what they look like in the next season of the show 🥲

ah well, at least it's coming. I honestly contemplated reading Role Model to get more Ilya, and I might succumb now (I also liked Troy).The Ottawa team were just so fun and Ilya and Shane on the same team? I'm excited
