I’m reading the new Sarah Morgan, All Together for Christmas. But inbetween all of this I’m reading festive novellas from KU to try and up my count for the year.

I am reading the following 2 books and I have to say The Lost Ones is definitely the best thriller I have read this year whilst Murder at the Spring Ball is the best murder mystery I have read this year.
I can’t face anything heavy until my family have been and gone for Christmas so I’m reading Hitwoman by Elsie Marks. Seems fun and easy so far!
The City and Its Uncertain Walls by Haruki Murakami.
I've only just started so I'm not fully immersed but so far, so good.
I have a load of non fictiom books to read now as new year new me will be focused on improving my crap personality this time

I'm reading "Superhuman social skills now" so watch out everyone I just finished Christmas Under the Stars by Karen Swan last night. I am SO disappointed in it!! It’s not Christmas themed at all. Literally just the last few pages. The title and cover are misleading and I’ve seen many reviews say the same. I might have been less disappointed if it was marketed differently.
plus it’s completely full of misery and the characters were not likeable.
So now I’m about to start Sarah Morgan’s The Christmas Escape. She’s not let me down with her Christmas books so far, so here’s hoping I finally get the cosy Christmas read I’m looking for!
I started listening to Death of a Cad by M.C. Beaton this morning. Also reading Katherine of Aragon by Alison Weir, which I absolutely love and cannot wait to read more of her books. I also have 25 Candles on the go, however its a slog to read, so I might wait until Christmas Day and skim through the rest of the chapters to find out what's going on.
I'm reading Scotland Yard: A Bloody History by Simon Read. Nice cheerful stuff for the festive season
I'm finishing Rivals by Jilly Cooper and then it will be onto Penence by Eliza Clarke. I found Boy Parts dark and very disturbing and this sounds like more of the same but I'm reading it in tandem with Once, Twice, Three Times an Aisling for a bit of light relief.
I've just finished University Secrets by Jack Sheffield which I thought might be boring, but was really good.
Just about to start The French Chateau Dream by Julie Caplin.
I'm desperate to do a reread of Polo by Jilly Cooper ready for the upcoming series, as it's probably getting on for 40 years since I last read it, and my memory is not that good!

I don't know about you @Marylou but there is nothing worse than an abrupt ending in a book IMO.

Yeah this was an abrupt ending thinking about it.
I read Christmas at Tiffany’s in Jan 2015, according to my Goodreads history, and gave it five stars although i can’t really remember it.
Are there any you do recommend?
I’m rereading The Housemaid ready for the film coming out. My friend asked me to tell her about the book when we saw the trailer a couple weeks ago and I could barely remember anything! I loved reading it the first time and now it’s as if I’m reading a whole new book as I can’t remember anything of it. No doubt it’ll all come flooding back as I get to the climax and I’ll spoil it for myself.
I read the Housemaid 2 years ago and I genuinely don't remember any of it.
I forget most books I read as soon as I finish them tbh

I have found this to be the case with most Freida McFadden books- they are so easy to read but not verily memorable..
I'm reading Hercule Poirot's Christmas - I do love a good Christmassy mystery this time of year.
