I really enjoyed this series ! Didn’t enjoy the tv adaptation though. I read it years ago. Might have to revisit Diana and MatthewCurrently reading The Discovery of Witches and I am LOVING it. Been putting it off as the step mum lent it with recommendations and didn’t think she’d have a similar taste to me. Proves me wrong.
Yes much better. I enjoyed the books but the show i really struggled with which was a shameare they better than the tv show?
Even though it was my payday on Tuesday, and I deserve a treat after doing 47hours overtime last month. I'm gonna be a good boy, I'm not even gonna look. I'm trying to have some low spend months. So, no double points, but £10 gift card if you spend £75, excluding preorders? I don't know if I can justify it, I could probably make it happen including preorders but I went for a recent Harper Collins 50% off, so I'm very well-stocked at the moment
Oh that’s disappointing. So, no double points, but £10 gift card if you spend £75, excluding preorders? I don't know if I can justify it, I could probably make it happen including preorders but I went for a recent Harper Collins 50% off, so I'm very well-stocked at the moment
I came here to write basically the same messageSo, no double points, but £10 gift card if you spend £75, excluding preorders? I don't know if I can justify it, I could probably make it happen including preorders but I went for a recent Harper Collins 50% off, so I'm very well-stocked at the moment
I have some Harper Collins on the way too. I bought 4 but it’s 2 separate parcels.I came here to write basically the same message
I got home to 4 HarperCollins books and a Waterstones pre-order last night so I don’t think I can justify a £75 Waterstones order and should stick to getting the £12.50 cookbook I planned to get during double stamps.
and i will GET TAKEN IN BY IT every timeThat isn't worth it unless you were already planning a £75 (£65 really) splurge.
It is just another way to make you think you are getting a deal.
Consumerism at its finest.
Definitely an upsell strategy yes! That isn't worth it unless you were already planning a £75 (£65 really) splurge.

Within half an hour I’ve gone from, well it doesn’t include pre-orders blah blah I’ll restrain and get the 1 item I planned to get etc etc to.. well… I would probably buy these books at soooome point soon anyway so![]()

I got Royal Assassin, Slags and Evenings & Weekends.
who spends £75 at once or is that the idea? Because not many ppl do it will cost them less than lots of ppl buying 1 or 2 books and getting double points.. (IDK if the maths is mathing on this just a guess)Oh that’s disappointing.
