Well I guess I’m looking out for the rest of them now. The book did come with an excel print out of read books with ratings 🙈 (the parents are elderly) so I may pay it some more attention 👀

Currently reading The Discovery of Witches and I am LOVING it. Been putting it off as the step mum lent it with recommendations and didn’t think she’d have a similar taste to me. Proves me wrong.
I really enjoyed this series ! Didn’t enjoy the tv adaptation though. I read it years ago. Might have to revisit Diana and Matthew

I’ve read the first two of discovery of witches (all souls?!).. now I need to rescue the third one from my TBR.. although I can’t remember what happened in the first two at all.

So, no double points, but £10 gift card if you spend £75, excluding preorders? I don't know if I can justify it, I could probably make it happen including preorders but I went for a recent Harper Collins 50% off, so I'm very well-stocked at the moment

Even though it was my payday on Tuesday, and I deserve a treat after doing 47hours overtime last month. I'm gonna be a good boy, I'm not even gonna look. I'm trying to have some low spend months.

And I still have mountains on the shelves to work my way through.

I came here to write basically the same message 😂😂

I got home to 4 HarperCollins books and a Waterstones pre-order last night so I don’t think I can justify a £75 Waterstones order and should stick to getting the £12.50 cookbook I planned to get during double stamps.

That isn't worth it unless you were already planning a £75 (£65 really) splurge.

It is just another way to make you think you are getting a deal.

Consumerism at its finest.

I have some Harper Collins on the way too. I bought 4 but it’s 2 separate parcels.

Definitely an upsell strategy yes!

Looking at my wish list I could definitely easily spend £75 (of course!) but the if double stamps had been on I would have only bought ~£40 of in stock now items (annoying pre-orders aren’t included) and am already slightly - well I could easily add to that.. 🫣

who spends £75 at once or is that the idea? Because not many ppl do it will cost them less than lots of ppl buying 1 or 2 books and getting double points.. (IDK if the maths is mathing on this just a guess)
