Ahhhh this is my all time favourite book. I adore it despite all the sadness.
Some of her books are good for a quick read but she doesn’t half churn them out! The last book of hers I read was The Teacher and I didn’t rate it at all.
I've tried with her fiction a few times but always DNF really early for the same reason.. I did read her lockdown/covid diaries which I mildly enjoyed. Don't find her funny as a person but thought it was quite relatable at times even if I don't have kids
I quite enjoyed The Cows but So Lucky I just could not get into.

Done it!! I'm ready to reimmerse myself in the world of Fitz and the Fool. I would have regretted not getting these, for sure.
Exactly my thinking, the regret fear was too high to delete the email and move on with my day lol
They are all at it. Writing books with prolific writers. At least it's very clear they aren't solo writing the book. Unlike all the ones that are ghostwritten and not made clear. Even if I don't think they write much more than an idea and some subject specific knowledge.
I don't mind this sort of gimmicks when they are open about it being "co written" with a real author. In the end, these sorts of books that people who don't buy books will buy because of the celeb attached to them often keep publishing houses afloat and let them pay for the actually good books by unknown authors. But it's also kind of an eye roll moment when I see celebs try to pretend like they always wanted to write a book.
