For 25 days, unless the last day is a massive chapter I am going to be so angry - need more explanations! I liked the first half but the second half - waaay too rushed

I couldn't wait and finished 25 Days last night. I have a lot to discuss about the ending. Can't wait to hear what people think.

I just finished this audiobook while I was doing some Christmas jobs. It’s so funny, I think this one being read by the author made it even better.

I’ve just finished watching all episodes of strike! I loved it! What are the books like?

Better! The character development and how everything is intertwined alongside actual plot lines is brilliant. As you get further into the series they get longer and longer, 1,000+ pages, but if you start now you'll have the benefit of paperbacks and not having to lug a brick around with you.

She is writing the next book at the moment.

Merry Christmas everyone

I like that everyone survived in the end and I like that it’s left on a cliffhanger that gets you thinking but there are still so many unanswered questions?! All the who, why, hows that we’ve talked about all the way through.

Although not the best book I’ve read this year, definitely my favourite reading experience!

I agree, I’m glad they all survived but I’m disappointed we didn’t find anything out. It was a fun experience though

I was expecting the last chapter to either explain everything or nothing so I'm not too surprised. The book wasn't bad and the chapter a day was fun!

I do think the advent style limited how the book could be written so my main takeaway is the chapters could have been a little longer with a bit more detail.

Merry Christmas, fellow readers!

I'd love to see everyone's Xmas books (I don't get any as gifts because I always read on Kindle - I just buy myself them!)

Merry Christmas all! I’m a library user so not many books but have unwrapped Nigel Slaters new one and also a Parisian Chic one by Ines de la Fressange (I’m a Francophile!)

I was a bit disappointed with the ending. Would they realistically have all survived the ordeal?
The stocking at the door makes you think, is it an innocent gift from a neighbour or is snow mobile man not dead after all?
I’m disappointed there wasn’t a chapter from his pov to explain his motive, surely someone wouldn’t randomly try to terrify a family, kidnap and torture them?
All seems fine with the family now but what caused the tensions that made them go away in the first place?
At the end of the book the author has a link to his website and a link to the questions he gets asked about the book so I’m going to look on there.
I loved the format of the book and the concept of it, reading a chapter a day and discussing it here has been lots of fun. 🥰

I was disappointed with the ending. I wanted to know who the guy was and his reasons for targeting the family. And whats with his obsession with removing fingers ? Overall I really enjoyed it and the one chapter a day experience. I hope we can do another one next year.

The author of 25 days posted on the Facebook group about the book! When everyone’s finished it I’ll screen shot and post! It definitely answered my questions!

Merry Christmas you lovely lot. I have said it before but this is by far the best thread on Tattle, I think it is the only one where we can disagree, it be respected and not cause a 43 page hysteria about why you are wrong.

Everyone above has said what I would have said about 25 Days, so I won't repeat. It was such a fun reading experience even if it wasn't some literary genius. I have never before taken a whole month to read a 350 page book!
