Just finished Demon Copperhead and thought it was amazing, but devastating & I know I’ll be thinking about it for a long time. I’m going to find something light and fluffy to read next to cheer myself up!

I bought 7 books on the kindle deals this month oooops
Also the lovely librarian would not take any money for the ripped book. Thankfully it was the introduction page he’d ripped. She ripped out the half page that was left and said “see sorted, no worries at all”

Same! Read and adored Tom Lake a few weeks ago and Hello Beautiful has just been bumped up my TBR! It’s been on my Kindle for ages so not really sure why I’ve not read it before now.

The new Elsie Silver that came out today (Wild Eyes) should be in my hands tomorrow. I wasn't totally enamoured with the first book in this new series but I am hoping this one is better as I'd love a good romance novel escape, and I really have enjoyed her previous two series. Hopefully I can report back on the weekend with a raving review!

I loved Hello Beautiful. It was my first read of 2024.. I have Tom Lake sitting in my purchased TBR pile at home. It’s such a beautiful cover too.

I started a Paige Toon book yesterday. She did a monthly read challenge back in 19/20 and I kept up with it for a few months and then lost track. I’d forgotten how much I love an easy chicklit.

I read more than half in a few hours and I’ve not done that for months and months.

I was similarly reading Seven Summers a few weeks ago, I read it after Ministry of Time and was a very very very welcome light relief!

Guys, kindle book deals, sorry going on about it again.

My monthly deals finally updated, but I just wanted to check with you guys. I remember the book deals especially on the daily deals,Everything was 99p, for example the Lisa jewell one is on my daily deals today and its £7.99 I don’t see how that is a deal!?

have they changed how they do their deals now because even on the monthly book deals everything seems to be £5.99 etc

Sounds like they could still be having issues and I’m pretty certain it shouldn’t be that price! I’d bought the new Lisa Jewell one for £1.99 on 1st but actually, I’ve just checked and it does show for £7.99.
