I'm preparing for the chance of this by withdrawing all my Top cashback money into Waterstones gift cards so I have about £50 to spend before I even actually have to spend any money if they do double points.

It's basically free books to the value of £50. And that's always good.

So, I saw a reference to a book which sounded like my kind of read, and it's out of print in the UK, and there's no ebook version. Amazon had second hand copies for £75. I was contemplating shipping from the US, and then I checked Blackwell's (they do free shipping from the UK, so I thought it might work the same way), and the book is £22, reduced to £9. Perfect. I ordered it.

I opened Blackwell's again today, and the book is now £32, so now I have to work out what to do with the £66 £23 I have saved.

My maths is telling me £66

Favourites and 5 stars were The Trial and Half a World Away, 4.5 stars Then She Was Gone.

Least favourites were Do Me No Harm and Tangerine. All the rest were either 3 or 4 stars.

I finished ACOMAF last night and it was so good - definitely my favourite out of the two so far. Now reading The Lottie Project for some childhood memories

I finished the first book in the ACOTAR series today. I loved it! It is the first fantasy book I read besides Harry Potter and Legends and Lattes. It has really got me out of a reading slump. I stayed home all day today just to finish it and it has been a long time since I was racing to finish a book.

I have already downloaded the second book.

finally after months of waiting it out I got the 3 months of audible for 99p offer today I think audio may be my highest format this year, 64% of my books so far have been audiobooks! really enjoying them right now

One of my workmates bullied me in to taking home her copy of ACOTAR last week and keeps asking if I’ve started it yet. I’m really not a fantasy/romance type of girl but going to give it a go due to the rave reviews here!

I've just read The Housemaid and The Housemaids Secret over the past few days and loved them. Can anyone recommend anything similar please? Not too gory/scary (I'm usually a easy read/romance reader) so just dipping my toe into another genre.

Just coming back as I’ve finally finished Green Dot and despite hating practically everyone in the book I actually loved it 4.5*s from me.

I’m about to start Midnight is the Darkest Hour by Ashley Winstead next.

There is a special Sarah Morgan kindle deal, 7 of her books all 99p each. I really enjoyed her Christmas Book Club so want to read more of hers. I’ve bought One Summer In Paris as it is another with a bookshop setting.

This disgusting weather makes me want to curl up in bed with a book at 7.30pm. As of yesterday evening I'm 9 chapters into The Trial by Rob Rinder which I got on Kindle the other week. I'm enjoying it so far. Going to put the kettle on now and get back to it.
