Nooooooo. I was listening to Kulti by Mariana Zapata as part of my audible plus membership and its been removed.

I cant even use a credit to buy it as it seems to have been removed?

Not on spotify or borrowbox either.

Strange, seems to have been removed from all audiobook websites, some say not available in UK

Has anyone else seen the hype around Nuclear War by Annie Jacobsen? It’s been all over my Instagram reels with people recommending it (albeit warning how scary it is)
I’ve reserved it from the library so won’t get it for a while but was just wondering if anyone else’s algorithm was pushing it

I think the Zapata books are being gradually re-published with cartoon covers (Wall of Winnepeg and All Rhodes Lead Here have already) so I wonder if the next one is Kulti and they're redoing the audiobook (and as a result taken it down?)

It got announced today but I pre-ordered on the 17th March. It looked like this on amazon when I ordered.
Its called Onyx Storm.

I love Kate Quinn, The Alice Network is my fave of hers have you read it? She has a new book out this summer too.

@DeesElectric - I started reading the Stolen Tongues prequel last night and I’m currently 40% through. I hate to say it but I’m bored. I wanted the fear wrapped up in the first part of ST but I’ve had none of that so far. I’ll keep going and hope it picks up.

There’s a sequel, The Next Mrs Parrish, coming out in June and I can’t wait because the first one was the exact sort of thriller that I couldn’t put down.

I’m not sure what I was expecting from TLMP but it totally didn’t fit my expectations. In the middle part I felt so angry and incredibly sad for Daphne and was desperate to find out if she managed to escape him. I do think the line at the end of her section with Jackson saying something about them having a baby boy lended itself more to him taking Amber hostage and stealing the baby for Daphne and him to have rather than him ditching Daphne to be with Amber. It may have even made it more thrilling to go down that route and then have Daphne and Amber join forces to get their revenge on Jackson.

Who has read the IT girl by Ruth Ware. I thought Id be glued to it and find it really engaging but Im finding it dragging a bit. Ive only got under 30% to read but usually at this point in a thriller Id be gobbling it up and dying to get to the end but not this time.

I have book amnesia so can’t remember what it’s about but I remember buying it cheap in the supermarket. I found it very meh and too dragged out for me.

I finished The Atlas Complex earlier - really didn’t get on with this. Kept going off on a bit of a tangent and didn’t really ‘get’ it. Now starting Happy Place by Emily Henry as I need a complete genre change!

yes I’d definitely recommend it. It’s fast moving with short chapters. I really loved the characters and there’s plenty of plot twists. I see it’s been adapted for tv and is on Disney but I haven’t watched it yet.




No it’s on my list to read. The Rose Code is the only book of hers I’ve read so far but love a bit of historical fiction so will definitely read more.

Yes just saw that I completely missed it as it shows 0.00 on KU then £3.51 in small letters. May need to just bite the bullet

Ive had KU before, well over a year ago so cant seem to get any of the advertised offers. Doesnt seem to be like audible where they offer you deals.

I'm preparing for the chance of this by withdrawing all my Top cashback money into Waterstones gift cards so I have about £50 to spend before I even actually have to spend any money if they do double points.

It's basically free books to the value of £50. And that's always good.

This is such a good idea! I use Top Cashback all the time. Do you get more “money” if you convert it to a gift voucher? I usually just get it transferred to my account.

I haven't been on Storygraph since I was offered to beta test it. I found it clunky but I guess it's gotten better? Do you guys recommend attempting to do it alongside Goodreads and also the Excel file I have from booktuber BookRoast? 🫠
