I’d never read HP so went googling and there are some really lovely time turner tattoos. And many are such that even non HP fans as I could appreciate
Oh yeah they are lovely but I just find that world very problematic now. The author's views being one plus how covertly racist the books are. They will still have a special place in Teenage Biscuit's heart but I'm hesitant about whether I'll influence my kids into them.

I nearly got a Rammstein tattoo as well. Also very glad I didn't! Mr B went to one of the last Lostprophets gigs before all the disgusting stuff came out about the lead singer. The gig was awful but he remembers seeing someone with a massive sleeve with the band's name on it 👀 That would cost a lot to get rid of and painful to sit through.

I've started with nature/animal themed tattoos so may stick with them to avoid future problems!

I used to think I’d like the Platform 9 3/4 sign! But am also glad I never did it 😂 tbh I’m not a tattoo person anyway though, too indecisive.
Oh gawd me too. I got my first tattoo when I was 30 and just contemplating my next one when I turn 40 in a couple of years 😂

I have a Game of Thrones/ASOIAF quote on my leg.
Not ‘Winter is Coming’ but it is another house’s words 😇

I finished The Heatwave by Katerina Diamond earlier - I’ve enjoyed a series by her before and this stand-alone was really good too. I picked up In Two Minds by Dr Sohom Das in the library the other week so going for that one next.

I have In Two Minds too! Hoping to start next week.

I was about 👉👈 to DNF Beartown but now cannot put it down! What is this sorcery?
I went from.. ok what's the hype? to I've just 50 pages out of nowhere. I'm 100 pages from the end of The Winners, I've just dropped my husband in town.. but I'm procrastinating on Tattle because I don't want the series to end

Got a week off work so I'm gonna commit to going through my shelves and having a major cull. Get a load off to the charity shop.

I'm running out of space, and I feel like I have too many books I've bought over the years I'm never going to read anymore. And lots I've read and don't want to keep.

Just got to work out how to get them there. 😆 I think it will make it easier to choose what to read next if I don't have 100 books to choose from.

And it means I can buy more. 😆

Has anyone read this? I flew through it today and don’t understand why it’s so loved by critics and readers alike. I did not get the hype at all. The best thing about it was that it was short.

Conclusion: team Beartown. May or may not have instantly rushed off to put a hold on Us Against You on Libby.

So, I have bought 3 books today and these are:
Chasing Dreams at Hedgehog Hollow by Jessica Redland
Spring Tides at the Starfish Cafe by Jessica Redland
Somewhere in the crowd by Katrina Logan which is about 2 strangers and 2 friends who meet at Eurovision and then make a pact with each other to reunite for every final, every year and every Eurovision.

I'm 20% through John Marrs - The marriage act. I have enjoyed all his previous books so looking forward to getting on with this one.

This is his specialty. CHARACTERS! That you love, they might be morally grey or bamboozling but by the end you would die for them. Fredrick is on my auto buy author list because personally, all of the non- Beartown books are just as good and HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?

I just finished the ex by Freida McFadden and either I’m really dumb or that plot line was the most confusing and stupid thing ever.
