So it was that series? I always thought he was jealous of her relationship with Jack, and that’s where a lot of the vitriol came from, albeit some was just him being awful. It’s just such a turnaround, I like to think it’s genuinely that he’s changed and grown up, rather than putting on a good show!
I do think he’s grown up. His energy seems completely different. He comes across as very stready now.
He was a jerk to Aesha but people do grow and change. I love Aesha but I can see how she could rub people the wrong way.

Agreed, I like Aesha, but her coarseness really really gives me the ick big time.
Yeah I love watching her, think she’s a lovely person and wish her every happiness in life but I don’t think I’d last on a boat with her.
Ellie was such a piece of work last season and the mask has fallen off this season pretty quickly. She’s just awful. They must have only brought her back for the drama. I hope she doesn’t draw Joao in. He needs to just keep on as he is without the drama.
Ellie, oh god. I was just starting to like her again after the train wreck that was her last season. I do think that her points (not liking being called pet names, being left to do all the cleaning while Ben goes off for a bubble bath) are valid, but her crash out was far too much. It’s not okay to be shouting and swearing at someone and accusing them of abuse. I’m glad Daisy was willing and able to step in.
Mike is tit at his job and a crap team player. Alesia’s not great either, but at least she seems to be doing her job now. Right now, Betul is by far my favourite, but she’ll not get invited back because she’s drama free.

Yeah I totally get why she was angry but she needed to raise it with Jason before she blew up at Ben. It would have made more of an impact if she’d been professional and not lost it.
Mike is annoying and has a bad attitude. Alesia is a bit useless with poor attention to detail but at least she’s trying most of the time. Betel is great, I like that Joao trusts her to just get things done with no fuss. She’s one of the few who will actually have a career in the industry and not just clout-chase I think.
Thought Ellie had slightly redeemed herself after calling out Alesia but no.
Why does she think she would stand ahead of the second stew, & also not have to take direction from another head of department?
I understand why Ben isn’t wanting confrontation with her but I wish they would all be more direct sometimes.

When Tyler first came on screen, I genuinely thought he was a weird doll! Then he moved.
That was such an entertaining episode. Joao berating himself had my husband and me in fits of laughter.
I cannot bear Ellie but she’s brilliant entertainment. I enjoyed especially this week Mike (and his hair) lurking in the background of almost every scene, weaving his gossip-chops. The fumes from his barnet come through the screen! Fascinating.
