I really admire Betul for going to Capt Jason and asking for a reasonable accommodation. It must be so hard to adapt to the variety of accents on board at the best of times, let alone when you’re trying to dock/set sail. I’m a native English speaker and I always have the subtitles on. I really hope she thrives now she’s let the captain know why she was struggling.

I’m not an Ellie fan, but I’m not a Ben fan either. I can’t wait to see them at each others’ throats. 😁

I’m actually a bit surprised it isn’t an issue more often, given the wide range of nationalities that seem to work in yachting. Fair play to her for speaking to the captain, always best to face things head on.

Betul is a reality show breath of fresh air. Her and V should set their own yacht crew company up for awesome women. Aesha as chief stew.

I might be the only one who feels this way but I personally think all of these problems are coming from the chief stews lack of proper communication. I don’t think she’s a good chief stew at all

I’m glad I’m not the only one. I everything she tells them in so vague. Like with the clothes in that last episode. She said can you bring them back with you. Then when she realised he was waiting to bring them with the food started screaming down the phone that’s he told him to bring them back straight away when she clearly never 🤦‍♀️ fair enough he should have has the thought to ask, so you want them back right away or will I bring them with lunch but still I stand by her communication is terrible

Definitely! And while maybe he should’ve checked but she is the chief stew, this is literally her bread and butter, running after the guests and making sure they have everything they want when they want it. I swear she only said shorts when she asked him to get stuff too, whereas it was actually the bikini too? Anyway. Communication, solid 0.

Totally random in a bathroom at a pub in whistler a few weeks ago with my kid and hear some Brit go omg hey babe I totally nearly got fired today can’t believe it so me but like it wasn’t my fault hahahahaha and I’m washing our hands and out walks Alesia and has added even more filler to her lips she looks ridiculous.

i'm so sorry if this comes across the wrong way but is Mike definitely not gay?? It's not only his hair, but he also seems SO women obsessed, not chilled like the other guys.

I’d be incredibly surprised if he isn’t actually gay or bisexual. I can’t necessarily put my finger on exactly why I feel so sure but I do!

Not a fan of Mike at all, but am glad his gossiping exposed Alesia for who she really is. Her attitude absolutely stinks.

I didn't mind her too much last year despite the fact that she was a bit whiny, but this year? I'd cheerfully push her overboard.

Same! I'd rather someone who is gossipy then a someone who is a witch or bully on the crew.

Alecia only reacted the way she did cause she felt guilty.

Not enjoying the guests homelife snippets.

I felt a bit sorry for Alesia tbh. At least she showed Jenna the messages, and it must have been really horrible to come across colleagues gossiping like that. She seems a bit naive and young as opposed to nasty. Love that Ellie - who I really don’t like - wants someone who’s not interested. Mike makes me ashamed of my Newcastle heritage. Still fancy Ben despite everything.
