Not BDDU bringing back fucking Ellie. I cannot stand her.
And, as for Captain Jason - should've told Alésia if she didn't want to be Sous she's off the boat.
Oh no not her!! She's awful!
I was hoping to watch all of this season, but not having her back!

Looks like it’s got the makings of a great season. Can’t see the chef lasting beyond this charter though…

I thought Barbie was rude to ignore being introduced to Jenna and ran to hug Ellie but doesn’t excuse the weird way she is behaving around Barbie. I guess she’s threatened by another brunette appearing. Her behaviour in the next episode preview on YouTube is awful though.

Just finished Down Under, really enjoyed this series. Agree with everything re Tzarina, she isn't an angel but she doesn't pretend to be either - what you see is what you get. Lara goes around picking her flavour of the month and shining her light on them, she definitely needs to leave the school playground mentality behind.

As for the new BD series, I can't stand Frazer he really does think he's something special. The French stew is a PITA, so loud and dramatic. She needs to go. As for the chef..... Why go on a reality TV show if you're not happy being filmed!?

Wasn’t Gael deck though?

I thought it looked like her but figured it can’t be as fictional Norma said no deckies available but now she’s suddenly available immediately as a stew?

ETA: googled Norma and she is real. I take the fictional part back!

I might be the only one who feels this way but I personally think all of these problems are coming from the chief stews lack of proper communication. I don’t think she’s a good chief stew at all

Yeah the fact that Bri couldn’t be honest with Lara about how she was managing her and that she was upset and overwhelmed when they’re supposed to be besties, that is not a friendship!

I hope the next one is better, Lara really ruined the vibe in this one.

Tzarina is a lot but I do think she’s got a good heart. Do you think she might be neurodiverse? I am and she reminds me of how I was when I was younger just trying to fit in and not really being me in social situations. As others have said, there’s no way that Lara would have tried half that shit with Ben or some of the other male chefs, she was horrible to Tzarina the whole way through and trying to put it on T as the bad one
Tzarina has openly said on her insta she is neurodiverse and confirmed she has ADHD, which is why she has difficulty processing rejection.

It’s obvious that the Bosun gets fired!

Rainbeau said on WWHL that the french chef didn’t know him well as they only met once and then never again or something along those lines.

Not that this is a spoiler we can all see it heading in that direction.

The firing of the bosun storyline is getting old bravo.

I've got Below deck med on E4 on here in background, but blimey Aesha as a first stew works hard, and has only 2 other stews, so what exactly is Fraser doing ? He has 3 stews, I haven't seen him doing very much.

Well , honestly I think that’s a bit of an unsympathetic view and rather a callous way to look at it . She likely made the choice pretty selflessly as well as I’m sure Nathan really wanted to film the show but didn’t want to leave her or the baby , production really wanted him there as they love a returning face and wanted to cash in on the rift he has with Joe , and so I’m sure she was getting pressure from all angles to do this . She chose poorly , yes , but likely because she was misinformed and also pressurised by a lot of people to do it .

I disagree also that she knows the score . She probably agreed to do this wayyyy before she had the baby . It’s her first - she likely had no idea what it would be like , what an emotional rollercoaster postpartum is and how isolating it can be when you have your village around you - let alone when you’re abroad , alone and away from everyone you love . 8 weeks post having a baby is such a fragile time and it’s hard to appreciate that unless you’ve actually been there .

It’s a pretty black and white view to go “well you made the call , boohoo , suck it up” .
Sorry, can't agree. I've turned down lucrative work when it seemed obvious the relocation wouldn't align with family obligations. Anyway, I've always suspected Nathan was more interested in Australian residency than Gael.
