Can't believe they've actually PAID to go to the Australian Open.
Glad they have as I'm a big tennis fan so would have been annoyed if they'd been gifted them when she's never really mentioned been interested in tennis

Watched one of her Australia vlogs on the weekend as I’d hardly seen any and she really is the voice of doom😂 she just moaned about everything and I felt a bit bad for Katie who seemed genuinely excited to be there. I think deep down she just enjoys going for meals and drinks.

Also they were talking about nicknames for each other and Molly’s is belvita like the biscuits and Tom joked ‘yeah the horrible, cardboard biscuits that sums your personality up’ 😂😂😂 cracked me up

I had second thoughts about posting this as it’s not his thread but he’s got a channel now and is for sure trying to leach a living off Molly soooo….

I think all the meals out aren’t doing too well for Tom, he’s beginning to look a bit broader than he used to

Of course they didn't even do the Great Ocean Road on their own, they just tagged on with a Welcome To Travel tour

As someone who lived in Melbourne for a year (one of my fav cities in the world), I have to say the representation of it so far on her Instagram hasn't been great. Looking at her stories and at the list she wrote of recommendations she doesn't seem to venture out of the CBD to any of the suburbs (bar St Kilda as it's popular with tourists).

The CBD is great, and for me it was the suburbs that make Melbourne what it is, and informed my decision in choosing to live there over Sydney. There's so much diversity in the suburbs, and amazing independent eateries and bars etc. South Yarra, Brunswick, Fitzroy are some of my personal favourites and my friend and I spent a weekend (we worked Monday-Friday) getting a feel for each suburb so we could decide where to live (we chose South Yarra in the end- fantastic place, surprised to see Molly hasn't been yet to my knowledge). She could really make great content out of this herself as i'm sure people moving to Australia would find this insightful, certainly when I was there, picking which suburb to live in was a big talking point.

I suppose to give her the benefit of the doubt she has not said which city she is settling down in yet so there's still time for her to explore all of this, just think it's a shame if she is going back to settle in Sydney, she hasn't shown more of what Melbourne has to offer. Especially as she pitches herself as somewhat "experienced" in Australia culture and travel.

Tbh I think they'll settle in Melbourne because she'll think it's the edgy/niche choice

Slightly off topic but Eve Bennett’s latest vlog just highlights Molly’s immaturity once again. It’s her birthday in the vlog and it is the most low key thing, no balloons, no posing, no fuss and no acting 16. She carries on with her day as usual, like a normal adult does and it’s lovely to see her progress into adult life this way. Such a simple behaviour but it speaks volumes!

Eve is no saint by any means and I don’t think she’d be my cup of tea IRL, but the difference in these two girls is unreal!

I think it’s just that they’ve both put on a bit of weight from all the eating out and drinking. Most backpackers lose weight from being too poor to eat properly and walking everywhere to save money 😂

It's definitely that. If you look when they're off hiking and stuff as well, Molly is always wearing converse and 'dressy' outfits so it's clear they're just doing it for photos rather than to actually exercise.

When she kept saying nadal will for sure win easy, like you clearly haven’t been following tennis the last 6 months

I had written this exact post, just forgot to post it. 😅 She’s the only person I know [of] who constantly compares everything to something else - it’s so irritating. It’s not a good way of advertising something if your viewer hasn’t been to the place you’re comparing somewhere to, for example. And it’s just so she can flex about two things at once. It’s the same with the whole, “I haven’t been here since…”, we know, you’ve been before. No one cares, though.

And I totally agree with those saying that she goes on these trips for the photo opportunities and food & drink. I noticed it even more after someone pointed it out - she seems happiest in restaurants. My partner and I go on hikes with little more than bus fare to get home and a packed lunch - she would never. If Instagram didn’t exist, I doubt she’d have gone to Australia. Also, I know fitness is relative, but the way she makes out walking five kilometres is some big feat (to brag about), as a healthy, able-bodied adult in her early twenties who doesn’t have to do anything else that day is embarrassing.

Omg this!
The great ocean road vlog was the worst for this:

sunset over some rocks = just like pai canyon
A small town with a beach nearby = like cornwall
Some ro formations on a beach = Portugal

swear she does it just to prove she’s been places

The thing is there's nothing wrong about being happiest in restaurants - some people love food and enjoy being a foodie. The issue for me is Molly doesn't tap into that part of her which could actually be interesting because her idea of fine dining is finding a Sunday roast in whichever country she's in and complaining that apparently no country in the world has ever heard of vegetarians.

I am creasing at her saying ‘I’ve been here before so I’ll be showing Katie and Tom where to go’ and immediately cuts to her taking them to a market that’s not open 😂

CANNOT deal with how in her Melbourne vlog she says she’s “acting tour guide because Tom and Katie have never been to Melbourne before and she *obviously* has so she’s going to be showing them all the must do spots". Wish I could have rolled my eyes harder at this. How long did she spend in Melbourne before? Surely no long than 2 weeks? We all know you’ve been to Australia before Molly, chill out, give it a rest and enjoy your days there with Tom and Katie without trying so hard to be a local. Because locals would know the market is not on every day, hilarious.

And when she says friends she made in Melbourne last time were going to the Australian open. I’m sure last time she was there she made 0 ‘friends’ because she was going around the country on a guided tour with the same people
