He still does quiz master on Greatest Hits and love that he took it with him. It was never quite the same when he was off and a replacement took over.
If I'm in the car i still turn it over as its so much better than 10 to the top!

I had to turn Louise off yesterday I don’t know why but she irritates me! Her first guest was Tom Hanks but I loved the interview with Matt Damon he was good fun. I miss Scotts quiz and birthday song
I listened to Joel yesterday and thought he was quite good except for making a bit of a mess of the buttons.
I’ve been enjoying Joel this week he’s definitely a relief after Angela and Ellie (who I dislike slightly less than I do Angela)

I like Joel too! He's quite good on Saturdays when he covers for Romesh and a really good fit for drive time

I had to switch to Grimmy in the car yesterday which was refreshing as the listener call ins and text were so relentless between 8 and 8:30 it was just allllll listener drivel. Kids in a car jingle is becoming quite triggering. Sara also seems to lean more to 80s music where as Scott played more 00s. It’s such a bloody shame that they had to get rid of Scott as he was perfect on breakfast

He told a story of his two year old son suddenly deciding to call him Uncle Joel and since he told that story on air the production team have been calling him that to take the piss
I couldn't stand Scott at breakfast but Sarah is clearly feeling the pressure, I hope she is given room to relax into it as she does have the potential to be really good if she just calmed down. I agree the listener messages about what they're up to is relentless and absolute drivel. I do not care.

I'm enjoying Uncle Joel on drivetime & would be happy if he got the gig permanently. I know he's not a DJ & I would prefer a DJ but he's just so natural.
I agree. I’ve been pleasantly surprised.
I've listened a few times, yes I think he really suits the show.
