Dermot & veron 90s shows are so much better than hers . Maybe it cause there a focus on a genre.

but I’m just so sad about the current demise of Radio 2. I know lots of you have said it already, but just a few months ago it had a pretty good weekday line up and now I barely listen during the week. It’s also a worry about Trevor Nelson being poorly, he’d become one of my daily favourites.
Fingers crossed he’s on the mend before too long and that management sort the rest of it all out!

I’m sure Radio 2 has shed a lot of listeners. It’s twee mixed with sentimental drivel. I’m too young for Radio 4 and too old for Radio 1. I’m turning off except for Vernon.
I have always felt too young for radio 2 but have listened to radio 4 for yonkels, stopped listening to radio when I was 11
Am 6music girly at heart but listen to stuff like the rock show ,sounds of the 60s/80/80s , desert island discs on sounds .
True the specific shows are ok. The “personality” shows are the one’s ailing.
I only really listen on a morning out of habit and keep it on for Jeremy Vine. I switch to Absolute on a afternoon or Radio 1 Dance/Kisstory as I love house/dance/r&b
I just saw that Paul Gambacinni has been diagnosed with Alzheimers.
Not Paul! I love him. I can never read his name without saying "Gambacinni" in Steve Wright's voice. Hopefully it is slow-acting.
I’ve turned Sara off and put Chris Moyles on Radio X.
I really can’t cope with this breakfast show. It might settle and I might get used to it, but I think I’ll also be going back to Radio X.
I liked Sara at drivetlme so it’s not that I don’t like her, it’s just not working on breakfast. I particularly hate the kids in the car feature remaining and the rebranded Hatched Matched and Dispatched.

This is it, and I think she will find her feet but I find her so jarring on a morning. I ended up turning Chris off Radio X and listening to LBC
I barely tolerated her in the afternoon but her style really doesn't suit that early in the mornings. Be interesting to see what the ratings are since she took over.
She used to be great when she covered for Chris Evans and I wanted her to get breakfast instead of Zoe. I think it’s the features which don’t work.
I think the features are too loud for the morning, I want to be entertained gently, it’s a bit too much sensory overload for my ears/brain. But as others have said, hopefully she settles.
