I follow them both and they’ve just been away to Caribbean as a family so does seem strange. I seem like the only one but I do like Vernon on his BBC2 slot he makes me laugh

Could have been the old 'make or break' holiday. Wonder if he's been up to no good and she's just had enough, the kids are pretty much grown up.

Vernon has really grown on me since he took on his show. He's passionate and I feel handled Steve Wright RIP 's death particularly well but did a great job with the VE day specials, seeming to be really excited to be there. He appears fun and warm. Tess seems very cold.

r2 doesn’t seem as Eurovision heavy this year which I’m enjoying. It’s still being mentioned obviously but doesn’t seem as OTT as previous years.

They've replaced him on the Eurovision coverage with Sara which amused me a bit, as though his whole job has gone to her including the "marriage" with Rylan etc. it puts her in quite an awkward position but I'd assume she's spoken with him about it privately

Definitely! I honestly forgot it was Eurovision week as it all seems so muted this year, it's usually such a big lead up but I haven't even heard the song played on the radio. Scott genuinely loved Eurovision more than anyone else and really used to get involved with championing our act. I imagine they had already filmed/planned alot of Eurovision stuff with him that probably had to be scrapped.

It’s bloody Angela Scanlon with Rylan - would usually be Scott

Just seen tomorrow's schedule and don't know if I can cope with all the Eurovision focus so I will maybe listening to past Radio 2 episodes or listening to another station..

It has to be oj it's the logic answer, then move Richie to overnights. Also keep shaun on the sat slot . But radio 2 are celeb daft so no doubt there will b a curveball thrown in.
