Gary Davies said it would be him ‘for the foreseeable future’. I wonder are some of the presenters maybe reluctant to take the post under these circumstances?!

I'm not sad, I love Garry. He's got a proper radio voice.

So sad they were 'honourable' and left when Lorraine moaned about the account in the papers.
It's not the anon's fault that Lorraine only hosted 58% of episodes of a show literally called Lorraine in a calendar year ffs.
Please not a reality star. Let it be someone who has studied Media. I miss DJs and Journalists and its all reality stars who just waffle or cackletheir way through.
I’m enjoying Gary to be fair. I did notice on Sarah’s quiz thing yesterday the contestant said “speak in another six months” and she said something like “I might not be here that long with what it’s like in this business” and laughed
The safe bet is Sara to breakfast, OJ to drive.

I don’t know if Mark Goodier would want a Mon-Fri on a full time basis…nor Gary for that matter. I really hope Sara doesn’t move because I enjoy her at 4pm - always feel like I’m nearly at the finish line where the kids are concerned as Dad will be home soon to tag in

Pretty sure gary & mark have business they run outside of their radio work. Hence weekends & cover suits them.
Poor Robert Elms is obviously still in shock after the sudden death of his friend's son (Primrose Hill stabbing). I was very surprised to hear he was doing his show this morning. RIP Finbar.
Yes he sounded in a bad way, really cut up. I didn't realise Finbar was the son of Chris Sullivan who is on the show regularly. Awful for all concerned.

Article in the Mail claiming Vernon, Sara and Claudia have ruled themselves out of the R2 breakfast show. I can see OJ getting it tbh although I’ve got used to listening to Gary now

I was irritated with the last one - I didn't like the replacement for Tom Sutcliffe - is it still Kirsty Lang? She was highly irritating as she kept leaping in with hints and help when the teams had only just started pondering. I would keep shouting 'please just shut the duck up'
Plus her scoring was erratic. She seemed to have definite biases.
