From what I can make out, he does seem to be desperately seeking love in all the wrong places. Sad, but ofc doesn't justify any wrongdoing or taking out misplaced shame on others, especially if they are already vulnerable and potentially have their own misplaced shame! Hurt people hurting people is still such a thing in some LGBTQ+ circles (not always - a lot of us are happy and take out our shit on places like tattle instead!).

It's also sad because in a parallel universe this could have panned out so differently - he would be such a gay icon! Appearances at GAY, Heaven, you name it! If that's what he wanted - it also would have been great to have an out, very respected and high up news bloke and it not be a 'big deal'. A gay man reporting the Queen's death and nobody gives a shit! To me, that would have been way more impactful and healing (sorry ) than a flashy 'coming out' exclusive, and I think it would have been possible. However you handled it, we'd have welcomed you with open arms, H! Instead you shit on the . Sigh.

i'm waiting to see how this all ends before affording him empathy, but i'd be lying if i said i don't feel sad for everyone involved so far.

i wish the best for everyone involved, but i think this has a high chance of ending very badly considering his mental health struggles.

i don't know how i'll feel if i find out that announcement here on tattle tbh, feel kinda sick thinking about it? id probs rather hear from the news as I probs won't know what to say on here.

I really think it's lovely that we've arrived at a place where the public are genuinely prepared to consider all sides of a story and think about the state of someone's mental health to do this kind of thing.

However, IMO it's often the tip of the iceberg and what we're seeing here is the 'softer' end (hopefully) of the horrific barbaric and brutal rape culture that exists in the entertainments industry as well as the pedalos such as Gary Glitter who literally never gave a fk when he gets sent to prison, comes out and starts all over again.

There's something a bit sinister about any grown bloke -or- woman for that matter who wants to get their sexual kicks with someone many decades young and only in their teens. Especially when they are father of children themselves.

My gaydar is normally pretty good and when HE had that glow up all those years ago and it was all over the media, my blue light started spinning! So this is no surprise to me if it is him. No excuses though chasing all these young lads, repressed or not. Did he really think he was going to remain anonymous and with all these random encounters/chats on apps?
