Its a massive leap from what he's being accused of and saying he shouldn't visit schools. It's actually disgusting that anyone would say that about someone who is still not being accused of or investigated for any crimes, and certainly not the crimes you are alluding to

I find those messages quite shocking. Sending a heart emoji out if the blue to a 17 year old you don't know? It's fucking weird and has 100% the vibe of how one would start the process of grooming.

The now 22-year-old describes quite well how he didn't really think anything of it at the time, felt flattered and then thought it was maybe a bit weird. And only years later realises how truly off it is.

My gaydar is normally pretty good and when HE had that glow up all those years ago and it was all over the media, my blue light started spinning! So this is no surprise to me if it is him. No excuses though chasing all these young lads, repressed or not. Did he really think he was going to remain anonymous and with all these random encounters/chats on apps?

I have no sympathy for him if he’s done these things; you knowingly enter into such activities behind your wife’s back, you knowingly put yourself at risk of consequence, being caught. ESPECIALLY if you are a known face, there’s always going to be someone potentially blackmailing you too. It’s incredibly stupid. He may well have historical depression (allegedly), but that does not green light this sort of behaviour. Sorry, but these high up paid TV people get so complacent and seem to seek some kind of secret power thrill.

If he was genuinely looking to connect with someone else (behind his wife’s back) I could almost understand if he was messaging other people his own age. But why is is often young teen/early 20s men that these TV people go for, young enough to be their grandchild? It’s some weird power thing, surely?

Just read the latest Sun story. FFS, that looks really innocent. My older male relatives often send me inappropriate emojis that they don't understand or think are just showing support or agreement! I wonder if HE is making the same mistake. A love heart isn't a sexual thing, it could be a kind of 'love it' type answer to any situation being discussed or shared. Honestly, is this the best the Sun can do?
