I for one believe them. I don’t see any reason they would put themselves through all this especially with someone so high profile which could land them in hot water if they’ve lied.
coz they are twunts. All about sales and revenue from the clicks. They dont care who they hurt.

Here's what I think -

Young person sells nudes and has made £35k out of it.
They have also developed a drug habit.
Mum sees this and reports it all to the BBC, which is where the person who was giving the young person all of this money works.
Young person is hooked on drugs and needs money so decides to get a lawyer to say it's all rubbish, in the hopes the money for drugs will continue to flow.

Thinking logically here.
17 year old, into drugs, somehow attracts the attention of an older well-known male. Engages in illicit activity, explicit photographs for which the wealthy man is willing to pay. The teen takes the money, either for continued activity or because he is blackmailing the celeb.
Mum finds out. Mum is naturally upset and her child naturally blames the celebrity for the sexual advances and the drug taking. Mum complains to the BBC who don’t do anything with it. Mum goes to the Sun.
In the meantime, the now 20 year old is being advised by a lawyer. He may have already signed an NDA, he may have been advised that taking money could be construed as blackmail. He may just want the whole story to go away so he can get on with his life.

It does sound similar to PSs situation where the young chap also denied the relationship. I think this story is true, it might not go any further and whoever the BBC presenter is will have blown up their life for a bit of titillation.

Perhaps the mum thinks the only way to get her child off drugs is to expose the presenter and therefore cut the funding off.

For the love of god though, just name him so we can move on!

That Sun article also says their initial article was "based on interviews and sworn statements from their worried parents".

Making me wonder if they've seen any actual evidence or if it is just one person's word against another at this point.

I agree.

The Sun must have offered the youngster a large sum for a tell all. The denying it all must be a greater value then taking the money but why.

GN keeps being mentioned, please don't tell me we're taking another ride on the Tattle roller coaster. I honestly think I'd need hospital treatment

If he's not actually a crack addict, maybe he's been saving up the money?
A retainer for a lawyer of that magnitude would be 10ks or 100ks of pounds and will run a credit check to see you can afford on goong costs, his legal fees must be being paid by someone else. What teenager do you know has that much money?!?! Law firms only do pro bond work generally for human rights or criminal cases.

Also you'd have to be on crack to enjoy that a pic 🤢

GB news has mentioned the reason the person hasn’t been named is maybe because of extortion or blackmail. No one knows anything really do they at this point?!

As his parents have just said how did he afford a lawyer?

I think everyone is going to try and backpedal over the coming hours/days or take a more middle of the road position

Holy duck!!

The young person’s lawyer has denied what the mother said!!!!!
So, the mother was the one blackmailing him all along? How crazy if all he did was send 1 pic & she's been riding him all this time. He stopped paying, she went to papers like she said she would if he cut her off. Tut tut. It's probably HER that is addicted to drugs by sounds of it.
