I assume the BBC will continue their investigations, then unsuspend the presenter...
There's been no evidence at all released that supports this.Call me old fashioned, but it isn't disputed that the mum asked him to stop sending money as the kid was addicted to crack and she's afraid he's going to die. He doesn't stop the money. She tells the BBC, stop him sending money to my crack addicted child, they don't do anything. I'd say that is most certainly inappropriate ffs!
He got what he wanted from this kid, despite
It still could be that everything is true apart from the fact it started when the young person was 17. If they started at 18, especially through a site like OF , then much as people may find it distasteful that a then 58 ish yr old straight married christian was paying to see an 18yr old perform sexual acts, it’s legal and there would be no grounds for an investigation. And probably a more more common than people would like to thinkI keep thinking…. So the sun have enough evidence to print the story and potentially ruin someone’s life but the police don’t have enough to open an investigation??
Doesn’t add up.
Can I just remind people that we actually still don't know that this is what has happened. People are speaking like it's been confirmed. He has to take some responsibility for his ‘unwise but not illegal’ dirty little secret surely. Perhaps he should have thought about his wife and family and his high profile career before paying a young man for explicit photos. He took a risk in engaging in that type of activity, it’s now backfired. Was it really worth it? I have very little sympathy for him tbh.
It's like a 90s wrestling plot. Either Vince, MacMahon or Russo, would be proud of it.This story has never really added up has it? Each update confuses matters a little bit more
Feels like a JJ Abrams drama![]()
Jimmy savile- obnoxious, self obsessed, loved the attention, thought he was women’s gift from god- always thought he was a wrong unAmazed at the amount of people making excuses for HE just because his public image up until know have been clean and family friendly. Reminds me of Jimmy Saville
He's still suspended pending investigation but it would be untenable for him to read the news when he is the news in this way.So are we expecting to see HE on 10pm news
It’s just all a bit icky isn’t it though. Even if it’s not true, someone’s career has been ruined.I don’t either. Very young in my eyes is under the age of 16.
Why what had she got to gain from doing what she did? The lad in question could well be back-peddling, perhaps because the lawyer has told him he could also be in trouble especially if he’s been blackmailing the presenter.I seriously question the mother here. It’s felt dodgy all along and there’s details that have never added up. We’re almost certainly missing a big piece of the puzzle and the mother feels a likely reason why.
Anything to get away from ‘unprecedented’ & ‘Covid-19’Phrase of 2023:
Unwise but not illegal
as things are moving fast apologies if someone has already answered. Once an allegation is put to a company the accused will almost always be suspended to allow for investigation, you’ve usually got to have some proof. That being said, someone I know went to their HR upset about disgusting messages, showed some of them and bam, investigation and suspension for the accused,HR didn’t even ask for response etc until after the suspension. They usually have to go with the person is telling the truth rather than believing it would be a lie at the first instanceIn the case that this is all in fact not true…
I wonder how much it would take for the BBC or another company to suspend someone. What level of proof would it require/ how easy would it be to ruin someone’s reputation
Not saying that’s what’s happened, just interesting
