oooh another juicy The sun on trial court case coming up.
Also the police would still proceed even if the person said nothing happened if there was evidence ie what the mother/the sun could supply. You cannot just pay off people the law still prevails.

News at 10.
HE presents, then that is him clear unless the BBC say soon that they have concluded their investigation and that presenter is no longer suspended.
Or he doesn’t. Which might mean having a deep fake picture of him has caused the worlds worst timed breakdown or … it was a legit picture ( unlikely) and he can’t face presenting.
Or at 10 pm .. he’s not on, due to being suspended.

In the case that this is all in fact not true…

I wonder how much it would take for the BBC or another company to suspend someone. What level of proof would it require/ how easy would it be to ruin someone’s reputation

Not saying that’s what’s happened, just interesting

Apologies if this has already been mentioned but I’ve been away and my mum was dog sitting for us. She just sent me this message as she records everything as she always falls asleep!!

So The Sun has dropped a bombshell article, claims are made that their article was "rubbish" and their response is that it's the BBC's responsibility to investigate?!

It doesn’t sound like the BBC are going to unsuspend the person just because of this letter, so if HE doesn’t show up for the 10 o’clock news…

If nothing happened why is he suspended still / why won’t they just give us his name? Mr Innocent doesn’t sound as good

Wouldn't the Sun be on a sticky wicket if they printed the proof they alleged they have seen?
